A lifelong Minnesotan, Dr. Joel Fenske was raised on his family's rural Paynesville farm. The hard work required on the farm is what led Dr. Joel to the local chiropractor's office - after a few long days of walking the bean fields and pulling weeds (yes, you are reading that correctly!), he was suffering from some significant mid back pain.
Chiropractic care is a manual, drug-free approach to health care that focuses on restoring the central nervous system to encourage better communication throughout the body. While pain relief may be an advantage of treatment, Family Chiropractic Center believes in the body's innate ability to heal itself.

Dr. Annie and Dr. Joel, along with the entire staff have been instrumental in my whole body healing. From being so sick and in so much pain the day I walked through the door to complete healing today (1 year later) I am truly blessed and humbled by the knowledge, caring and quality of care they have given me. I had hurt my hip and started treatment including massage and acupuncture. The most important was to listen to the doctors and foolow thru on treatments. I was able to get pain free and look forward to summer. I never thought I would be pain free and I am so thankful. I hope all who read this try chiropractic care at this clinic and get help!

I've been suffering from back pain and migraines due to Scoliosis since I was in high school. I have since had 2 kids and lived a fairly active life, but I carried a lot of pain in my daily activities. I started at Family Chiropractic six weeks ago and have seen huge improvements already. I am currently pregnant and have had a lot of low back pain/sciatica. Before getting adjustments I could barely go for short walks and now I’m able to walk however long I want without the pain. My sleep, digestion, and mood have also improved. My 6 year old daughter struggled with cyclic vomiting syndrome for almost a year before we brought her to Family Chiropractic Center. She had episodes of throwing up every 1-2 weeks, and we all were exhausted. We decided to try a more holistic treatment, as we were uncomfortable with our GI doctor's plan for her care. Dr. Annie and Dr. Joel have been adjusting her, and she has only had 1 episode of vomiting since we started with them 8 weeks ago. It has changed her life! She is so much happier and healthier. The staff there is wonderful- Angela, Megan and Heidi are probably the friendliest people

I cannot say enough good things about Family Chiropractic Center. If you have ANY anxiety or hang ups about getting a massage or chiropractic care this is the place for you! Dr.Annie and her staff are incredibly warm and welcoming - you can tell they truly care about the well being of their patients. I recently had my first massage ever here and the massage therapist Rachel went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. I would 10/10 recommend!
