Florida is one of the few states that has no annulment statute. Annulments in Florida are based on the common law - which means that such cases are decided by the court analyzing prior cases. As a result, it is important that you contact an annulment lawyer in Jacksonville. In order to understand how a child support amount is calculated, you must understand the factors that a judge must consider when making a child support calculation.
Temporary Alimony - paid during the case so that bills and other expenses can continue to be paid until a final judgment is entered. Bridge-the-Gap Alimony - awarded so that a party can more easily transition from being married to being single. Rehabilitative Alimony - paid for a short period to assist a spouse in becoming self-supporting through the development of skills and credentials or through education and work experience.
In order to understand how a child support amount is calculated, you must understand the factors that a judge must consider when making a child support calculation. The Florida Statutes require judges to follow the Florida Child Support Guidelines. Contact a child support lawyer in Jacksonville for an explanation of these factors.
I found that too many (if not all) online Florida Child Support Calculators fail to provide accurate results. The child support amount provided by these online child support calculators, in my opinion, does not reliably predict what a judge would order at a hearing. The judges use a far more complicated program.

The Law Office of A. James Mullaney is an excellent firm. Jim is highly professional. He always responded right away to any questions I had and guided me through my divorce process very smoothly. He made it so I understood what was happening at every moment and explained anything I didn't understand. He also filed and completed my case in a short period of time, which was very efficient. I am grateful for all his help and I would recommend his services to anyone in need of a great lawyer who is personable, professional and efficient.

I was looking for a family law attorney with reasonable pricing who was able to sympathize and work with my complicated situation. For something that seemed so complicated on my own , with his services it was quick and very straight forward. Mr. Mullaney was great , communication on point, and he helped me understanding the laws and what was to be expected with the paper work , classes and hearing. I would highly recommend his services to friends and family.

Mr. Mullaney was most amazing in helping with my divorce process. He is straight to the point and let's you know right off the bat how long the process will or should take. And he was right in everything he said. 6 weeks approximately from start to finish when a person does there part. Thanks for everything Jim.

Attorney Mullaney helped my husband and I with two step-parent adoptions. One biological father was in the State of Ohio and the other biological father is here in Florida. I want to say each adoption case took about 6 months, but that was because the biological fathers did not respond to paperwork.
Solo practitioners are the way to go. Attorney Mullaney's fees are very reasonable compared to going with a law firm or other professionals in the legal field. What is also great is that he is the only person working on your case, so you don't have to worry about messages being relayed incorrectly
