Jesse is a wonderful photographer! We enjoyed getting to know and work with him throughout our wedding journey. And I'm so appreciative of all the important, authentic moments he captured during our wedding.
We hired Jesse for both our welcome dinner the night before and, of course, the day of our wedding. I would highly recommend this to ensure you capture your full wedding weekend and the photos look consistent.

Jesse is truly the best in every way. His style is so natural and real, with no staging, and his photographs are works of art we will cherish for the rest of our lives. He has an amazing way of capturing every important memory, as well as the emotions and spirit of our events.

Jesse is fantastic at his job. He has a great eye for lighting which is the most important thing for photos in my opinion. Our wedding photos turned out amazing, both background shots and close ups. It was difficult for us to pick a few to frame because we had so many beautiful photos to choose from! Also as it happens, Jesse is a very nice guy, professional and pleasant to work with, with a very chill personality. Can't recommend him more- it's totally worth the money to get your photos done by a consummate professional.

Jesse was so incredible to work with - we couldn’t recommend him enough. My husband and I have both never had professional pictures taken and are pretty shy. Jesse never made us feel awkward or forced into any shots, everything about working with him felt comfortable. He is very easy going and easy to communicate with. Jesse is THE BEST. We got married during Covid and had to change our plans multiple times. This was an extremely difficult time for small businesses, especially wedding vendors. Jesse is the real deal! He is professional, relaxed, communicative, and extremely talented at what he does. The photos speak for themselves! No corny or forced posing, just gentle direction/suggestions here and there. We had an awesome time shooting and goofing off with him on both our engagement shoot and at the wedding. We can't imagine having hired anyone else to take photos and were overjoyed by the images we received (through easy-to-use file sharing).

I found Jesse while researching wedding venues and discovered the photos he shot of John Mulaney and Annamarie Tendler's wedding through Onteora Mountain House's website. I thought they were absolutely stunning and that his work managed to capture the tender moments of such a special day so effortlessly and beautifully. Our wedding was January 24, 2015 and we had the pleasure of having Jesse as our photographer. It is really hard to put into words how fantastic Jesse is - as a person + as a photographer. When choosing my wedding photographer, my goal was to find someone who was a pleasure to be around at all of our wedding events (we had 3 major events), since photographers are really with you throughout the entire process. When I had my first meeting with Jesse, I could tell immediately that he would put us at ease the day of our wedding, all the while taking beautiful photos. We were so lucky to find Jesse. He was incredible. The photos are just beautiful and and the entire experience was amazing. Jesse was so accommodating and he really knows how to capture the spirit of the event. My husband and I had a wonderful time at our wedding, but we both agreed that our favorite part was taking photos all around the little town we were married in before the ceremony. It was so fun and Jesse made the entire experience perfect. I felt like a rock star. Jesse is a stand up guy and one hell of a photographer.

I found Jesse while researching wedding venues in the NYC area. I was really impressed with the blog I found on 100layercake which featured his photojournalism style. After a short Skype session, I didn't really consider any other photographers. We held our engagement photo session in Central Park where he took us off the beaten path in the midst of the concert jungle. The session was so much fun (we may have broken some park rules) and the results surpassed our expectations. Him and his team capture every single moment, moments that you would miss if he wasn't watching....Most importantly, he has FUN with it. They also never make your guests uncomfortable. Jesse's craft with a camera speaks for itself, and his talent is equally matched by his ability to balance professionalism and personal consideration for every couple. The task of finding a talented, thoughtful, unique wedding photographer can be abysmal; for us, it lead to a bleak Google Image search: "rustic wedding photography"; but the infinite results were worth the dredging -- we found Jesse.
