I went to visit Lux Dental recently and had amazing experience with staff and dentist. My cleaning was done by Dr.Imran, he is very kind and sweet guy. Te explained everything elaborately why my gums were bleeding and the procedure we were gonna have. He took breaks while I was needing one and also gave me glass of water HIMSELF when I told him my throat is a bit dried, what a kind being. Would recommend anyone to visit and thank you.

If I could give zero or negative 5 stars I could. Nothing is good at this Lux Dental. They will make an appoiment for no reason and when you are there for the appointment they will make you wait for ever, sometime they will change your appointment without your knowledge and they will call you to say we have an appointment, they are careless, one-time they loose my kid dental impression and ask me to make an appointment again for impression, they will not answer the phone call, even they answer the call they will put you on a hole for ever, sometime they work without the gloves!?, one-time I was

Dentist had horrible smelling breath, gave me an awful cleaning, the assistant didn’t know how to use the xray machine and took about twenty xray pics to get one accurate. This practice is only interested in making as much money off each client as they can. Front desk uses pressure tactics to get you to pay for treatment you don’t need.

2013 they pulled my top teeth out to give me dentures. 2 weeks later I had to go back for surgery because Dr. P pulled them left bone chips in my gums. Ended up with 13 stitches and a swollen face. It is now 2021 and I still don't have teeth. For a half hour appointment you're lucky if you're there 10 minutes. You can't even get any response when you email or voicemail them. I even called the media Solve it 7. And Hank P Ryan. The next call is going to be a lawyer.

The receptionists were wonderful who worked really hard to make sure they had all of my insurance information. However, the doctor in Cambridge (Dr.Abbas, who isnt even listed on their website) was the most disrespectful dentist Ive ever had, she was rude about my teeth and clearly was mad she had to be doing this at all. I left crying both times i had her because she made me feel so terrible about myself. I was pushed to get procedures I didn't feel comfortable with(found a different dentist didn't go through with her) but the whole place just felt like a scam

These guys might be decent dentists, but i think they are either overwhelmed or making enough to not care about people... I had a terrible experience with the girls at reception. Unprofessional, and least bothered about you wasting an hour at their office. If the doctors charge you for their time, even if it is 5 minutes, no way they can take others for granted. I do not recommend!

By far the most unprofessional place that we've ever been in!! We had an appointment at 10:30, arrived at 10:10 we signed in an sat and waited, and waited, and waited...the entire time we were not acknowledged by one person!! After an hour of waiting the inept receptionist said fill out this paper work and oh our internet is down so the Dr. Can look in you're mouth but can't take exrays! Seriously?? That makes zero sense so we expressed our feelings and left! Zero apology, Zero attempt to make the situation right. We left this dirty and unprofessional place and have an appointment

I went in here for an emergency visit on August 5th. After x rays the dentist came in and dropped a dental mirror on the tooth that was causing me pain. He let it go and it dropped off my front tooth. Immediately after this I lost total faith in the abilities of the dentist. I asked in the lobby for my money back, and the receptionist told me to call the next day and speak with the manager. After about 5 calls I got no call back from the manager. I'm filing a complaint with the better business bureau.

BEWARE!! Listen to the bad reviews! I went in for a cleaning when I was about to move across country and made it very clear to them that they I only wanted the cleaning that was covered by my insurance given that I was leaving soon after. They wanted to x rays as well and after looking at my insurance they said that the x rays and the cleaning were 100% covered by insurance minus a 20 dollar copay. I agreed to do the x rays and payed my normal copay and left. 6 months later I get a 200$ bill for x rays and an examination. Turns out none of it was covered. They straight up lied or were incompetent

I went to Lux Dental as an emergency almost 4 years ago, and I am still a patient. I was put with Dr Shu and I am still his patient. I now enjoy going to the dentist because of Dr Shu and the staff there. You are always made to feel like this is your family there. Tyler at the Quincy location is so professional at his job there, it is a joy to deal with him. I would recommend Lux Dental to anyone looking for a dentist.

They broke my tooth-a perfectly healthy one, during an extraction and didn't even bother to tell me. Up until this point, I had had a generally decent experience there. Today, Bc they were more concerned with taking their break than with doing their job, I got a rush job & they broke a healthy tooth in half, next to the one they were taking out. They didn't even have the decency to tell me they broke the healthy tooth. Will take legal action if this does not get fixed; STAY AWAY, SPREAD THE WORD

I have had a few "basic" teeth cleaning at this location. On my first visit, I wasn't very pleased with the whole experience. But, I decided to give them a second chance. I had another visit a few weeks ago. I can't recall the name of the doctor, but certainty was a much better experience, WAY better than the first time!
Last time, while there, I totally missed asking my Dr. for a prescription for a medication (cold sore). I'm having a really bad burning on my lip for the last few hours so, I stopped by today, 3/29/2018 and I asked the front desk person if it was possible

I have been visiting this office for many years (I can not even remember how many, maybe ten?). I have always had a positive experience. My dentists have always been Dr. Abe and Dr Le. Both are great. I have always felt that I was well advised. Never felt pressured or with the impression that they were taking advantage. On the contrary, when something is not necessary or urgent, they try to avoid making you incur into more expenses. I have never been urged to pay the whole price at once for something that was too expensive for me. They are very clear in advanced about the costs of a procedure before

Several years ago I had a dental emergency on a Sunday and I found Lux Dental (I have never heard of a dentist that worked on Sunday!) they were able to fit me in right away and I have been a patient ever since. I have had several fairly complex procedures at Lux and have had great results. Dr. Abe is wonderful! He is perfectionist with his work, passionate about his practice and makes an effort to make you feel comfortable (especially to those of us that are anxious patients!). I have been both the Quincy and Cambridge offices and I would recommend either office.

I feel extremely bad for this amazing dentist office!! Mainly because of the rude and horrible receptionists, first impressions plays a big role on wether a client will try out a dentist office (most people seek welcoming and friendly receptionists) and this place lacks that therefore i cannot get myself to easily book appointments past the rude receptionists.
Every time i call to make an appointment i am thrown off by the way they talk and carry themselves, people generally who have to come to the dentist office are already in a bad mood or at least unpleasant and speaking to these receptionists

I've been going to Lux Dental for years. Don't believe any of the bad reviews. This is the best dentist around.
Not only do they have the most up to date equipment but the staff is extremely polite and the dentists are extremely intelligent and professional. I have recommended Lux to many friends and they all have had great experiences.

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of positive feedback regarding this place; they've had to redo a filling 3 times and still didn't get it right by their own admission. They have very little regard for patients time; they're always running behind and don't bother giving anyone a quick heads up.
They did pay for the botched filling, but it doesn't make up for the bad office administration.
