Our friendly team at Alamogordo Dental Group is dedicated to helping each patient we meet enjoy improved oral health and a beautiful smile. Lisa is proud to announce that she has been with Alamogordo Dental Group since 1991. She graduated from El Paso Community College in 1991 with her RDH license and graduated from Phoenix College with her anesthesia license in 1992. What she enjoys most about our practice is the energetic and friendly staff, the wonderful dentists, and the caring and loyal patients.
Dr. Mario Samaniego is originally from El Paso, Texas, but at a young age migrated to California, where he attended high school and dental school at Loma Linda University. After dental school, he joined the USAF for specialized training in every area of dentistry. In 1984, Dr. Samaniego started his practices in Las Cruces and Alamogordo, New Mexico.
Dr. David Russell was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He met his wife, Rebecca, at Mesilla Valley Christian Schools, and they later attended New Mexico State University together. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at NMSU with a minor in Spanish, Dr. Russell obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona.
Dr. Logan Behrmann has been a part of the Alamogordo community since 2006. He graduated from BYU-Hawaii with a Bachelor of Science in biology and earned his dental degree from the Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland in 2005. He went on to complete his advanced education in General Dentistry at Wright-Patterson Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.

Took my 4 year old for her first ever dentist visit and they were wonderful. They let me go first and my daughter watched, timed out letting her sit in the chair for a while, played with the water tools with her to show her all the functions, and were very gentle and caring.
We walked out into the lobby at the end and my daughter said “That was super fun” so I think they did something right!

The office is very clean and front desk was organized. I was seen at my appt on time with Emmanuel, the hygienist. He was professional and did a great job cleaning my teeth. I’ve been going to the Alamogordo Dental Group for close to 25 years and am always thanked by others I refer there. I appreciate them keeping my smile bright and healthy!

Terrible, Careless Service
Went to the Alamogordo Dental Group in early September as I had lost some crowns during the lockdown. I needed them reinstalled or replaced.
Diagnosis was to reinsert one of the crowns and then do extractions to move the others to an existing partial denture. The crown didn't make it to the corner when I left the office. I sneezed and it was sitting on my tongue. Since I needed to come back for the extractions and the other work, I just saved the tooth.
I came back about a month later and had the rest of the work done. After they received the completed denture

Best dentist office in town! The staff is always so welcoming and kind. Today in particular I was so impressed with the team. My 5 year old came in for his first ever cleaning and was nervous. Miss Paige was so kind and sweet while he got his XRays and unfortunately his nerves got the best of him from that point. Still Miss. Lisa went so far as to give his teddy a “cleaning” to try and put him at ease. Dr. Cohyn (I apologize for any misspelling) as well was very kind and patient with him. Highly recommend this clinic to everyone!

My experience was great! This was my first appointment where I didn’t have a babysitter and had to bring my daughter (8months). They really tried to accommodate her so she wouldn’t be upset. They also gave me a ton of information about her dental needs for the future. So many things I never knew about babies/toddlers and their dental hygiene! Great place!

Horrible orthodontics experience. My wife was seen by the orthodontist and told he could probably just do her bottom teeth easily (since she already had full braces earlier) came in for impressions still no quote even though we asked for one. Paid $500 for impressions then called weeks later and were told she would need upper and lower at $4K. Still not able to talk to the dr AGAIN!
