Michael Wight has been interested in real estate, investment properties, and property management since age 15. After graduating high school, he studied management and marketing at the University of Alaska. He continued to educate himself in his spare time on real estate investing and management.
He purchased his first investment property at the age of 19 and, after graduating with a BBA from the University of Alaska, Michael became a Resident Manager with Weidner Property Management.Two years later, he left Weidner to join Buyers Real Estate where he worked to build the management side of the company.

I purchased a property that "Buyer's real estate property management" was a Seller's property management company. Throughout the whole process, I felt sorry for the Seller because of their sloppy work.
1) “Buyers property management” delivered wrong amount of tenant's security deposit, wrong amount of prorated rent at closing.
2) After the closing & record is done, they left my property keys out of their office with address written on envelope. WHO delivers the property key non-protective outside?? Even during COVID, key should be delivered in person with check of photo ID. Anyone could have

After a nightmare experience with another local property management company, renting through Buyer's Real Estate has been a breath of fresh air. I've been happily occupying my current apartment for over 2.5 years - I have always received prompt and courteous service when calling in or visiting the office. Staff communicate effectively, and maintenance requests are handled very quickly and with minimal intrusion.

Pretty good value, all things considered. Timely communication and punctuality of maintenance (not emergency maintenance, they’re wonderful) has been on and off since I moved in (and that was a few years back), but everything eventually gets fixed. Cant expect total perfection, we’re human after all.

Ashlea has been amazing to work with! I was suggested to contact her to find a rental and she let me know of new rentals as soon as they were available and I found a great place. Highly suggest working with Ashlea! The companies app is also super easy to navigate and pay rent easily!

The owner, Mike, was very responsive, communicative and savior! He always makes sure to answer all my questions about my lease and makes me feel that I am not just another customer. His service is very personal and professional! Would recommend 100%. They currently don't allow tenants to see final inspection with them which I had concerns with because everybody needs their security deposit back but he made me feel that I could trust him it will be taken care of. Thanks again BREPM and Mike!

They expect you to pay rent on time AND charge a late fee, but it’s okay for them not deal with any maintenance issues or call you back in a timely manner. Then the staff gives you attitude when ever they do decide to call. Been waiting 3 WEEKS jus for a call back for maintenance. WORST management company I’ve ever worked with. Can’t wait to move!
