Chinese medicine is the medical system developed in China before the introduction of modern pharmaceuticals and surgical methods. It emphasizes restoring health by helping the body find its natural balance. At Seminole Heights Community Acupuncture we offer traditional therapeutic methods like acupuncture and herbal medicine to help you achieve health, naturally.
Workshops and classes at Seminole Heights Community Acupuncture are designed to build community and support the work of the clinic. This may mean any number of things. We aim to change healthcare in Tampa by providing broader access to acupuncture to people who thought it was out of reach or unavailable: sometimes classes - not needles - are the way to go.
Our services are available to all of our patients on a low cost, sliding scale. Even the products we sell are well below the standard retail pricing guidelines. We designed the clinic specifically this way because we know Chinese medicine is often out of reach for people who need it the most.

Seminole Heights Community Acupuncture is part of a nationwide movement called the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture (or POCA) whose goal is to fix health care. POCA is a co-operative run and fueled by co-op members who believe that acupuncture should be available to people. POCA helps bring clinics like ours into existence through micro-loans, training, support and volunteer opportunities.

Didn’t know the app to do first appointment was going to be that hard, I guess u get what you pay for. I have no clue how to join the video call, I’m out 25 dollars and there’s no way to delete credit info. I’m pretty phone savvy the older generation will definitely have a problem with the Jane app. So many other ways to do face time call, was looking forward to discounted acupuncture, but not worth the trouble.

I never give negative reviews/ or feedback.. BUT PLEASE, Be aware of hidden fees , unprofessionalism, and fraudulent charges @Seminole Heights Acupuncture! IT WAS NOT ECONOMICAL AT ALL!! YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING TO A TRADITIONAL ACUPUNCTURE ESTABLISHMENT .Had to get my bank involved as a mediator for fraudulent transactions as they were not willing to resolve !!! PLEASE BECAREFUL as they require you to have a credit/debit card on file in order to make appointments, use a prepaid if you have to !!!

I cannot overstate my gratitude to this place. The entire staff is so warm and professional. Very relaxed place with an emphasis on healing everyday people. Where western medicine couldn’t help me, this place absolutely did. Even after a few months of being out of town, they remembered my name and everything when I popped back up. Big shoutout to Qi for healing my voice and listening to my needs. A true sanctuary here in Tampa Bay.

I just started coming to Seminole Heights Community Acupuncture, it has been an amazing experience. I have lived with chronic pain from arthritis in my hands & knees which can depilating at times to even walk properly. I can honestly say I feel great!! It has been a long time since I have felt this good.

A wonderful community acupuncture center, which allows you to pay, what you can afford (within a specified dollar amount). The experience is different from the normal office service. You will read procedural literature as you fill out your first visit documentation. Then you will be escorted to where you can make your contribution. After which, you will enter an open setting of blanketed recliners. You place your shoes and your personals in a bin. Those items remain next to you. Soft music plays as you lean back in your chair and relax. Someone then greets you and starts the service. The environment

We are so lucky to have this resource in our community. I go in for treatment when I am in any sort of emotional or physical pain. Most recently I visited for extreme stress. A 2 min explanation & quick Traditional Chinese Medicine exam and I went from “I’m so upset I don’t even know how to sit in a chair” to knocked out cold for the best most restorative gentle nap I’ve had in my life. Please go and give it a try. Their overall wholistic focus on affordability and community service is just the icing on the cake.

I have been coming here for almost a year.
I can say without a doubt l feel better than I have in along time.
I try to go 3× week. Everyone should try this type of acupuncture. It's like being in someone's home. With recliner chairs and soft music.
