Dr. Hughes is such a knowledgeable, personable, and caring orthodontist. This was my second time having braces, and he was transparent with me about the process. He took his time to get them right, understanding and respecting my perfectionist tendencies. It's been about 3 years since I've gotten them off and I've since been back for multiple visits. None at the fault of Dr. Hughes or his work, but simply because I kept grinding through the glue on all of my permanent retainers. Even with all of that, he's always remained calm and worked with me to find something more sustainable

My daughter was referred to Dr. Hughes by our dentist office. She had major crowding and weird tooth placements.
We have been going here for the past year and have really appreciated the knowledge and advice Dr. Hughes offers and it shows he really cares about the care and health of his patients both young and old.
The change we saw in the first few weeks was amazing and now a year later I am still amazed at the change still in progress and how easy it has been for my daughter!
The office environment and staff friendliness feels like small town charm in the big city. Which is important

Both of my teenage boys were patients of Dr. Hughes. Both experiences went smoothly with great results. The staff is so pleasant to work with - very accommodating and responsive. His office location is very convenient and I appreciated the bright, sunny waiting area during our many visits! I would highly recommend him.

Along with my siblings, I saw Dr. Hughes in middle school to straighten my teeth. Any nerves I had were immediately assuaged by the extraordinarily warm and professional staff, as well as Dr. Hughes’s long track record of success. What I particularly admire about Dr. Hughes is his commitment to educating his patients as he treats them; I felt as if I were a partner in my own treatment, as Dr. Hughes always took the time to answer my questions with detailed yet accessible explanations. My family has been seeing Dr. Hughes for the past 11 years, starting with me at age 40. He then treated my twin daughters. One of my daughters had a very complex underbite which would require surgery to correct. Dr. Hughes was extremely knowledgeable reassuring, and guided through the entire process. He gave us several options for surgeons, keeping our daughter’s best interest as well as our insurance coverage in mind. Our daughter is now 1 year post-op and her braces are off. We first went to Dr. Hughes because he was recommended by our dentist whom we love. Little did we know that we'd be in Dr. Hughes' office every month for about a decade, since all of our kids had braces and then me (mom)! So thank goodness we liked him and the office!
