We know that your pets are part of your family and that you want them to have the best care possible. At Newton Animal Hospital, we treat all pets who enter our doors the same way we would want our pets to be treated. We hope your family will rely on us to provide compassionate care to your pets. We are proud to serve the Newton, KS and surrounding areas.
Our standard of care values preventative medicine to keep your pet as healthy as possible. We also provide diagnostic testing, surgical procedures, nutritional counseling, prescriptions and pet care items, and hospitalization. For times when your family may be away, we provide boarding services to keep your pets safe and comfortable.

We would love to have you visit us! But until then, take the opportunity to visit through this tour of our facility. After entering our reception area, you will visit both the dog and cat exam rooms and the treatment areas. You will also see areas such as the surgical suite, laboratory, digital radiology, and ultrasound rooms.
We understand that your pet is an important part of your family. We believe in a standard of care that will enhance your pet's well-being and overall health. Our veterinarians will recommend a vaccination and testing protocol that compliments your pet's specific lifestyle, environment, and age. Wellness exams are not only for puppies, kittens, or senior pets.
Our veterinarians perform sterile surgeries and anesthetic is monitored by trained veterinary technicians. Spays, neuters, and other common surgeries are approached in the same manner as more complicated procedures. Surgical procedures are performed Monday through Friday mornings and are done by appointment only.
To prepare your pet for surgery, we ask that you withhold all food/treats after 10:00 p.m. the night before the procedure. Your pet may have access to water during the night. In the morning, you will need to remove the water so that your pet will not have anything to drink before arrival. Allow time for check-in with a Veterinary Technician.
