The team at Northwest SUP & Fitness is your go-to resource for choosing the perfect Stand Up Paddle Board to meet your needs and budget!. Basically, liters of volume is the measurement of how much weight the paddle board can comfortably carry and still float above the water as the manufacturer designed for optimum performance.
Michelle Doty is our Group Paddle-Fit Instructor here at NW SUP & Fitness. Michelle is a board certified personal trainer thru NASM and has many years of experience with fitness program applications, and of course Stand Up Paddle Boarding!

I had such a fabulous time with Michelle paddle boarding! We had a large group of friends go out with her weekly last summer and can’t wait to do it again! It was something out of all of our comfort zones and she made us feel so relaxed and taught us everything we needed to know. I never thought I would be doing squats, push ups and sit ups on a paddle board- but I did and loved every minute of it! The best part was falling in to cool off! It was a great and fun way to get a full body workout!

I had never paddled before, let alone done a fitness class on a paddle board...but I was greeted with big smiles and lots of enthusiasm which made me feel right at home and confident! You can tell that Michelle and Jeremiah love what they do, and have a great time doing it. There was an introduction to the equipment, which was brief but through,… followed by getting right on the board to get comfortable with the paddling and movements. The class is challenging and fun, and there are alternatives to every move in case you feel uncomfortable with anything. Overall, the class was just a blast

SUP has been such a life changing experience for my Wife and I. I've always enjoyed outdoor activities, and made efforts to stay in shape (but failed lol). Stand Up Paddle Boarding is such a unique workout, after the first season of paddle boarding I could see my obliques for the first time in my life! Might not be a big deal to some of you, but for me that was huge. Michelle is an EXCELLENT Personal Trainer! She's patient and kind hearted, but has a drive to succeed and help others succeed. Being a part of Michelle's fitness training including her Paddle-Fit classes has taken my personal fitness

So much fun!! I have done 2 classes so far and have never been on a board before this. Michelle is very well at explaining everything and extremely patient. I was super nervous about not being able to do it but learned Everything can be modified so if your worried about not being able to do something - DON’T!! You get a great workout while being in beautiful scenery with some amazing women and something completely different than a gym atmosphere! Can’t wait to do another class and work my way to getting my own board!!

Loved Michelle’s paddle board class. Michelle is an excellent teacher, very patient and enthusiastic especially to a 63 year old trying paddle boarding for the first time. The boards were really sturdy and she… explained the different types of boards and which would be the best for me. The boards were really sturdy which surprised me since they inflatable. I would highly recommend her classes and her equipment is top notch.

You will be amazed at Michelle's high energy and encouraging personality even if it is your first paddle boarding experience. She finds the best board for each person out of her inventory of inflatable boards. The boards are professionally racked inside their business trailer.
