Orthodontists are dentists, but not all dentists are orthodontists. Dr. Kort Igel attended college and dental school. However, he also completed orthodontic school, including a three-year orthodontic residency. While dentists receive some orthodontic instruction, Dr. Igel's training made him a specialist in this field, learning how to move and align the teeth and jaws, so you can have complete confidence in his care.

Highly recommend Dr. Igel and his staff to anyone seeking orthodontic services. From the initial consultation, to the staff that assists with insurance claims (they are the BEST!), to the dental hygienists, and Dr. Igel himself- they are truly a team committed to your personal orthodontic care. They are wonderful, and I can't say enough great things about everyone there. We love our beautiful smiles!

Felt like I was scammed, probably because I didn’t have insurance but anyways I was given a 6,000 quote. So my monthly bill was 175 out of pocket and my orthodontist visit were every 2 months which isn’t normal. Most of the time it should be every month. Also every visit my wire was never changed they always put the same one back in… which I also found odd… my bite was a little off and I had a couple gaps no major problems at all…. So I was still kinda confused on why it was so high… I was just so excited to get the braces I really didn’t realize what was going on, that’s my fault

My daughter has been going to Dr Igel for over a year. They were upfront from the very beginning as to each step that will be taken, what the total cost would be and factoring in dental benefits.
The staff were and are great at making my daughter feel at ease even when she had to go in by herself for every appt due to Covid, which is not always easy with her.
Specific shout out to Jill Johnson who always has taken the time to answer any questions and to teach how to care for braces, what is normal and what isn’t normal and cost saving ideas for the extra dental hygiene needs needed to care

My daughter Hannah got her braces removed today. She had some unusual issues that required special attention and a number of years to complete the care plan. Dr. Igel and his staff were great to work with throughout the whole process. The highest level of professionalism and a very helpful, supportive, friendly staff. Hannah’s teeth look absolutely perfect. I will not hesitate to recommend Dr. Igel and staff to anyone in need of orthodontia care. We are completely satisfied. I am a busy mom who is also an independent contractor. Managing my schedule and having information to review prior to my appointments keeps my life organized. Both of my kids go to see Dr. Igel. He is so knowledgeable about upper airway issues and how to help treat not just your teeth, jaw and mouth in general but how to successfully do it while taking in all of the airway issues my kids have had. The staff is so welcoming, polite and kind. They are patient, taking the time to explain everything and allowing time for questions. The office is beautiful and has ample patient areas along with lots of room in the lobby area.
