I had the pleasure of living at a JJS property for about 3 years. I honestly only moved out because I had to relocate for work, otherwise I'd still be living in one of their properties.
In my time there, I never had a problem they couldn't or didn't fix in a timely manner. The example that springs to mind was on a particularly muggy day one summer, my AC unit blew out and stopped blowing cold air. I contacted JJS and WITHIN A DAY, they had a vendor onsite with a new unit and it was installed and running, at no cost to me.

405 BED BUGS . . . and when I called about there being BED BUGS they were very rude. They acted like I was crazy for thinking the BED BUGS were coming from a different unit. Here to find out in early 2020 a unit in my building was infested with bed bugs. They never disclosed this to us. BED BUGS. Also the apartment didn't get above 60 degrees in the winter for about 3 weeks.

Rented from them for over 5 years. They were VERY respectful, quick to respond, and accommodating to my schedule. My senior dog went deaf and started barking when I left for work and instead of giving me a noise violation, they gave me a call to let me know what was happening so I could find ways to make him more comfortable when I left.

Absolutely terrible. I had a personal washing machine in my unit and it malfunctioned and overflowed. They told me that I "could not have that in my unit", even though the lease does not state that you cant have one. I called my insurance company who reviewed the case and told me that I could not be held liable for the damages to the unit below me. However, JJS Property forced me to pay the charges by holding my security deposit (Which was $1000) and then forcing me to pay the difference. The 'resident managers' were extremely rude and would stare at me while I was in my garage

I love my new home. I have no trouble with this company. Paying my rent is always a simple process online. If I have any needs, they are quick to repair it. My apartment was completely redone before I moved in with new carpets, new kitchen flooring and all new paint with colors of my choice. Communication is always open with quick responses. They have even gone out of their way to make sure I live happy and comfortably. My Neighbors are quiet and friendly. I would highly recommend renting from this company, they have never disappointed me.

Maintenance requests that were never filled. My bedroom window has been busted all winter. Boards on the balcony were supposed to be fixed as they were rotting through when we moved in. That never happened. We were planning on staying for another year because it is still a mostly decent apartment and affordable, but management is refusing to renew our lease with no explaination as to why. Judging from the other reviews I'm sure when we leave, we will be charged for "damages" beyond normal wear and tear, so so much for getting our deposit back. At this point I am looking forward to moving.

Terrible, terrible rental company. They let anyone come rent from them. This apartment used to be nice and quiet, now it’s filled with people who hardly work, and are loud 24/7. A family in my building ended up getting bed bugs, it spread throughout the whole building, my apartment was one that got hit. They gave us a list to complete. We completed it, they still said it didn’t meet their standards, and they are threatening to charge us. It seems as whenever they do make communication with the tenants it’s about wanting to charge you. How about my 300 dollar mattress getting ruined? My goodness

I lived here for 6 months and it’s TRASH. Watched a guy get tackled outside my apartment by the police. The building is old and really dark. The laundry sucks and you have to dry your stuff 3 times. There are cockroaches in my kitchen, and at mangagers are some of the rudest people I have ever met. They charged me $600 in damages after I lived there for 6 months! And I am a very clean person.. they marked everything off as dirty at the inspection even if it’s spotless to get more money out of you. They scammed me and they will do it to you too. Please don’t live here, it may be cheap but

I'm so relieved i'm not the ONLY resident who has had the worst experience with this company. Where should I start? The fact that they are denying me of renewing my lease as a SINGLE mother ... and when asked why they won't let me renew, they DENY me and refuse to tell me? Very professional. The fact that I have a documented disability, asked for an accommodation for my animal and was denied? (illegal). Also, one of the associates in the management office admitted to me that my neighbors are taking pictures of myself and my MINOR daughter when I bring my dog outside to use the bathroom... and did

By far the worst rental place I have ever rented through. At first, it seems amazing. They're easy to work with to get you into the rental property. The even give you a cute move in bag. But once you are moved in, none of the request you make to management is never followed through. Our toilet wouldn't flush properly for about 1/2 a year and nothing ever got done about it or our dishwasher the entire time. In the winter, the parking lot is never plowed and you will fall almost every time you walk out to your car. Oh, if your looking for quality and affordable rental you will not find that here

I've lived in one of their apartments for the last two years and have enjoyed it very much. Though the community room is more like a meeting room, where you have to reserve it if you need it. So I haven't actually met any of my neighbors. The apartment is very clean and large for the price. The location is great and the staff have been very helpful whenever I've had to reach out to them. I haven't had to do many maintenance requests but the few times I've had to they've been very good about it. Id recommend at least checking them out.
