At Center City Orthodontics we have one simple motto which is to "Make A Difference". Our Philadelphia family practice's goal is more than just helping you smile. We have over the last few years tried to come up with creative and engaging ways to become active partners in our community and have been blessed to have formed many lasting partnerships.
The initial examination is a fact finding mission, so we can put together a customized treatment plan that addresses your chief concerns and desired treatment outcome. Our Treatment Coordinator will then provide you with a tour of our office. Preliminary records will be taken. These consist of a panoramic and cephalometric x-ray.
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends your child's first visit to the Orthodontist to take place by age 7. For a jaw growth problem or tooth problem, it might be necessary for this visit to take place as early as age 5 or 6. It is usually difficult for you to determine if treatment is necessary because there are problems that can occur even though the front teeth look straight.
Healthy teeth can be moved at any age, so there is no such thing as too old for braces. Today one in three of our patients is an adult patient. Our adult patients are a mixture of those who have had orthodontic treatment when they were younger and those who never did for various reasons. Dr. Thomas focuses on the patient concerns and will explain his treatment recommendations for care and the realistic expectations of their results.
There are so many people who avoid orthodontic treatment because they cannot stand the thought of wearing braces or they believe that braces will be very uncomfortable. For a lot of these people, technology today has provided an alternative called Invisalign. Today, Invisalign aligners are a viable alternative to braces for certain types of cases.

Had a pretty disappointing experience today checking out of the practice and trying to schedule a follow up. We hadn’t had prior issues until today. The front desk staff person was not supportive or transparent about options for working families and then the promised us the doctor would call us and no one ever called. At one point I had to ask her not to yell across the waiting area at us. Everyone at the practice should be trained on how to speak to people. When the clinicians are kind but others are not it ruins the experience.

Dr. Thomas consultation saved me from an Oral operation according to other DMDs. My experience with Dr. Tejjy Thomas and his team was EXCEPTIONAL in the past 2 years. I’m very grateful for his passion to help me get a better smile and self confidence. I will missed them, about to get my final treatment on Nov. 3rd.

Dr. Thomas and his team go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your smile. They are professional, perfectionists, and very personable. I though my teeth looked great after 1.5 years of Invisalign but Dr. Thomas insisted on fine-tuning it a bit more. He was right. After a few more trays, my teeth look and feel even better. I’d definitely recommend Center City Orthodontics for anyone considering braces or Invisalign.

Just got my braces off and my teeth look beautiful. The whole journey was so pleasant and everyone at the office was always so nice that I always looked forward to my next visit. Dr Thomas takes time to explain every detail clearly to you so you understand what is going on. I’m so happy for my smile and I 100% recommend this place to anyone with dental needs. Also, I appreciate the COVID protection practices that were put in place.

My experience at Center City Orthodontics was exemplary from my initial consult to the end of my treatment. I wasn't thrilled about the idea of adult orthodontics at first, but I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. The correction to my alignment and my bite were better than I could of imagined. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose CCO again without hesitation -- and I'd recommend them without reservation.

The office is beautiful, just like the individuals that work here. The doctors and staff are welcoming to ALL, and truly have your best intrest in mind. I could not be more pleased with my smile!!! I would have never thought that correcting the minor shifting I experienced would make such a major impact for my smile. Of course, I knew it would improve the areas I was concerned with, but never did I imagine it would be this amazing 👏🏽😍.

Dr. Thomas and his team's quality of care is distinguished by their responsiveness, resourcefulness, and content expertise. I'm happy with the results and trust when Dr. Thomas says his staff are available for questions and concerns. The value of the experience and invisalign product exceeded expectations.
For those considering options to expedite treatment time, I found that the accelerator, an optional product to expedite treatment time did little if anything for my situation. But, there was no hard sell of the product and it was my choice to try it. The product may be more useful to others
