Services
Our quarters for pet boarding are clean and temperature controlled, just like home. We exercise animals twice a day in our fenced yard. While you are away, give your pets the care they deserve-compassionate, caring, and in a supervised environment with veterinary assistance always nearby. Current pet immunizations on all dogs and cats are required, or you may arrange to have vaccines given at the time of arrival.
We view our primary responsibility as helping you keep your animals healthy. The veterinary care we provide is aimed at protecting your animals from disease, and early detection of potential problems makes all the difference. We recommend annual comprehensive veterinary health and dental examinations accompanied by appropriate immunizations for all of our small animal patients.
Whether you have working dogs, performance dogs, or household pets, your dog deserves the best of care. At Chaparral Veterinary Center, you never get "just a check-up"-you and your pet receive exemplary veterinary treatment in our complete wellness packages, tailored to the age and needs of your loyal friend.
Chaparral Veterinary Center received a merit award and was runner-up for Hospital of the Year in the Veterinary Economics Hospital Design Contest in 1989. Every horse owner is unique, and we aim to meet your needs-be it for pleasure, performance, working horse, or broodmare. Through advanced technology, we offer performance floats that aid in both horse health and performance using full-mouth speculums and motorized dental tools. Our ultrasound technology aids in the evaluation of tendons and muscles.

I made an appointment weeks ago and on my way there I called to say I was going to be a few min late. When I called they said they had no appointment scheduled for me today. I explained I was coming from almost an hour away and was more then half way there. Instead of accommodating me for there screw up they said sorry and to reschedule. I should have been accommodated for there screw up. Instead I lost 400 not going into work today. That you for running a professional business

Staff & doctor were great , friendly, the initial exam is reasonably priced but for the lab work and any other thing was a bit expensive for me even for the nail trimming. Why can't there be a clinic where you could do things for people with low incomes I Love My pet but I cannot afford their outrageous vet bills.

As someone who shares a household with multiple aging rescue dogs, I am in need of quality veterinarians. I have had interactions with every veterinarian at Chaparral and can say that they are all top notch professionals who care about the quality of life of my furry family members. I appreciate that they listen to my concerns, help me find the best treatment options, and make sure all of my questions are answered. I also appreciate the compassion they have shown me at the most difficult times. The staff are wonderful too. The techs always take great care of my babies, and the admin make me feel
