A Maryland resident for over two decades, Dr. Anahita Abdehou is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. After dental school, she completed a one-year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Maryland dental school and has been in private practice in Maryland ever since.

I have sleep apnea and did not like wearing the mask. I went to Advance Family Dental and was fitted for a mouth appliance. This was the best thing I have ever decided to do! The mouth piece is comfortable, non-restricting. I now sleep through the night. If I need to get up during the night, it is easy to do. I can even kiss my husband goodnight. I was able to get used to it immediately and have not had any problems with my jaw other than a little stiffness the first week. I highly recommend this and absolutely loved the professionalism in fitting me for this appliance.

Accomodating, professional and timely service! I was in the time crunch and had a few conflicts in my schedule but Shelia from the front desk was very helpful in resolving that and finding me the right time for an appointment. I visited Dr. Cho to get six fillings, it took about less than an hour for him to get the job done. Fast, professional and quality service. Definitely recommend!

Dr Abdehou is a great dentist. She always has a pleasant and cheerful attitude and she has great attention to detail. She wants your teeth to be the best. Most doctors aren't really as invested in their work as she is. She also will talk to you about natural ways to take care of your oral and overall health. The office is nice as well, which I often find lacking in dentists in this area.

The Dentist was exceptional.She is very professional and explains the whole process.She is very patient and understanding.She did a really good job with my teeth. Her staff is also wonderful.They would call and give me timely reminders and also make allowances for me.Very nice practice.

I see Dr. Abdehou. Ever since I've been coming to Advance Family, I have nothing but praise. The staff is professional, friendly and very helpful. Although past dentists that I have had were fine, Dr. Abdehou have been the most thorough. She and her staff are also very willing to answer questions. I'm not going anywhere but here. I was so happy that I could find a quick appointment the same day due to the pain that I was experiencing. I made an appointment at this location. When I arrived I was literally crying in pain because of a toothache. They proceeded to take a X-ray and then stopped for payment details. Instead of continuing with the procedure that would have helped with my pain they advised me that they wouldn’t be able to continue because a electronic check error. I didn’t have another form of payment except a paper check method. It seem as if they were more concerned about money than a patient well being.

I had a tooth that broke on Tuesday and the wonderful lady named Sheila managed to get me an appointment the very next day, excellent customer service. Dr Abdehou took her time explaining my options for fixing my tooth and together we made the decision on what my best option was. I love that she didn't rush me into making a decision. I highly recommend Dr Abdehou to all my friends and family for their dental work. She actually remembers me no matter how long it is between visits.
