When I'm not planning gorgeous events I'm busy being Mama to two girls Lily and Mira. We live in the RVA area with our two precious pups Buster (corgi) and Cooper (GSP). We love being on the water, going to the beach, boating, kayaking and sailing. I have a new found passion in photography, which admittedly makes me a better event planner because I design for things to be most appealing in your event's photos.

A liaison facilitates a close working relationship between people. We're all about compiling that "Dream Team" for your exquisite event. This package is perfect for the couple who doesn't have the luxury of time to immerse themselves in the details. We handle typically delicate situations between family members so you don't have to.
Because specialty events can vary wildly we do not offer packages but instead will customize a proposal based on the services you need and event you are planning. Unless you plan to exchange vows on the beach in the presence of just yourselves and the universe, you will inevitably need to interview at least one, if not many wedding vendors. While each vendor is different, there are some do's and don'ts that apply to every interview. You'll want to keep these in mind to set yourself up for the best possible relationships.

DO NOT USE HER SERVICES! We booked her as the planner for my daughters wedding, on May 20th. When we first met her, Sarah, told my husband, daughter, and myself that we wouldn't have to be concerned with anything that's why we were hiring her so that we could enjoy this day stress-free. Now, I do not know how she did not write that date on the contract and why she didn't bother to check the contract before April 28, 2017. She had an entire year to review that contract for accuracy, and yet she chose not to do so. Instead, she waited until four weeks before our daughter's wedding to discover she

Attended a wedding on May 20 that was "supposed" to be handled by this company. This was NOT the case. Family members were setting up chairs, decorating the aisle, placing decorations inside, they had children handling the s'mores table instructing them to open the crackers and place them in the jars. All while the person assigned walked around like she had no clue what to do. Without the family members coming together to do what this company should have taken care of, this wedding would have been a sad day for the bride. So unprofessional.

Sarah is absolutely incredible to work with! She has now coordinated not only my wedding this summer, but my two older sisters' in the past few years as well and we couldn't be more impressed! Sarah is incredibly knowledgable about everything wedding and her southern taste is impeccable! She helped our family so so much through these three weddings, helping everything go smoothly so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Sarah from Make it Posh Events was the wedding planner for our October 2015 wedding. My husband and I were reluctant to use a wedding planner, as we were on a tight budget for our tastes and style, but I am SO glad that we went with Make it Posh! We contracted with Sarah for her "partial planning" package. I was able to make most of the big decisions and did most of the planning, but she was an excellent "sound board" when I needed to make a decision, she attended vendor meetings with me, talked down prices with vendors on my behalf, gave me advice, became the primary contact for my vendors prior

Sarah was a dream come true! I lost my mother 4 months before my wedding, and Sarah went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure my day went PERFECT. She assisted me in pulling all my ideas/details together to get an overall southern elegant look. My wedding design turned out even more beautiful than I could ever imagine.
Also, one vendor I selected did not fulfill all of their contractual responsibilities, and Sarah picked up the ball and made sure I did not know about the issue until after my wedding. She continued to assist me after my wedding to receive a refund back from my vendor that broke their
