My interest in photography began in the late 1950's. I was fascinated with the whole aspect of photography while I was in my pre-teenage years. Just the thought of being able to capture and freeze a moment of time in a single image was mind boggling. I wanted to learn more. My parents purchased this Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Camera in the 1950's.

This was mainly for family occasions and outings at the local beaches of Rhode Island and New England. Later were vacation trips from Florida to Canada. I was allowed to snap a few photos whenever the opportunity arisen. I was immediately hooked! The limitations of film photography were stifled by the cost of film and development.
