The Florida Keys are famous for their diversity of architectural styles. Concrete Block with Stucco (CBS) homes and modern frame houses comprise most of the Lower Keys homes. The old wood frame houses known as Conch houses are named after early residents of Key West and complete the market. All building constructed after 1974 must be elevated above flood plain level to meet current FEMA guidelines.
If you set the price too high your house won't be picked for viewing even though it may be much nicer than others in the area. If you price too low, you'll short-change yourself. Your house will sell promptly, yes, but before it has time to find the buyer who would have paid more. Have all lights on when showing your home, replace bulbs with highest wattage bulbs possible.
