Todd and Riley did a superb job with all aspects of my father’s funeral. They helped us so much throughout the entire process. They truly are the best around!

Peters treated our family with utmost care and respect during one of the most difficult times of our lives. My family is truly grateful for the help that they provided us during this time. The video of my grandma was touching and perfect. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else take care of something so important.

When I wasn't sure about what was going on or how to handle the funeral arrangements for my spouse, Todd, Cindy, Riley and company were there to take care of everything. They kept us informed, instructed us in what needed to be done and did so with great compassion. I have lived in this area my whole life and don't intend to move. I will continue to recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in a position to need their services.

My brother passed away November 2 and my Dad and his wife, both in their late 80s, contacted this funeral home. They are not technically savvy so they did not search around to find the best funeral home to cremate my brother. That’s all we wanted. A simple cremation. They charged them more than twice what other funeral homes in the area charge and I feel they took advantage of the situation.
I have decided to update this review after talking to a gentleman at the funeral home. Since this is a small town, I can see where there may be added costs compared to a larger city like Grand Island. I

We don’t know where to start to thank you all for the kindness you showed to our family. The dignity and respect that you treated our mother Jeanette was beyond words. You helped to make a beautiful tribute to the woman we all loved and adored. All the special touches you added for us meant more than you will ever know. You both are such wonderful, gentle men and should be proud of the difficult job you do each day. No words can express all the compassion and understanding you showed to us as we were grieving and trying to make decisions. You all hold a special place in our hearts.

Losing someone is hard enough. Todd and his family made dealing with that so much easier. They're very caring when it comes to things the family wants. We lost our Dad during this Covid pandemic, but Todd made sure we could still have the type of service we wanted, a small outdoor burial. It was perfect and presented beautifully. A few months later we were able to have a celebration of life for our Dad. It was very nice and Riley did an awesome job on the slide show. I'm so glad we are able to have that for years to come and enjoy.

Peters Funeral Home did a wonderful job when we lost both our mother and father within a few months of one another. They were very compassionate and so very helpful with all questions and situations. The livestreaming was incredible - due to covid several people were unable to attend the funeral but did watch. We are very thankful for that option. And even in small town Nebraska the internet service was great. We appreciate that we were able to go into the funeral home and all arrangements, appointments and other services were handled all at one time and one place.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Peters Funeral Home. When my dad died last year, Todd came into the hospital room and the first thing he did was hug my mom. He set up our family meeting and was very organized. He not only remembered me and my sisters, but also my cousins who live out of town from my grandparents' funerals 20 years ago. He personally knows most of the local church leaders, florists, and caterers, and it was nice that he collected all the bills so we only had to worry about paying 1 person. The tribute video that Riley made is something we will treasure forever

I cannot say enough about how kind, compassionate and caring the Peter's family are. They did everything possible to make the sad time of losing our mother, Marcella Jablonski as good as it could possibly be. The video of pictures and music they put together was amazing and will be treasured by all of her family. They simply could not do enough and we greatly appreciate them and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their serviced.
