Modern Pub with full bar, 10 beers on tap along with a craft beer bottle and can selection. We offer craft cocktails and a wine selection as well. Our seasonal food menu features local ingredients used to create our pub staples, as well as several unique salads. We also roast our own coffee for our espresso and coffee drinks including our popular Pub Coffee.

What a delightful addition to Wellsboro's Main Street. Friendly staff, fun drink menu with a host of good beers, and steam punk decor. It's a fun bar to go to.
As an older person, I do find the atmosphere to be noisy but that seems to be the norm in bars these days.
The only thing that prevents me from frequenting the Roost is the high covid numbers which plague Tioga County. The Roost is certainly not responsible for that!

Awesome stop for coffee, drinks, great beer list , and food menu. Bartender was exceptional and attentive. Owner took a minute to check in and make sure all was well and gave us some interesting info about how most of the decor was reclaimed from the building basement and a family home in the area. What started as a rainy day stop - turned into a commitment to return to the area again!

Excellent cheese steak and good burgers! Samurai tots are huge and can be a meal in itself. Service is great too. We could tell the place gets super busy cause it’s a one of a kind in this are. They don’t take to go orders via phone after 4 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, but we came in to request a takeout and they were kind to accommodate that. Would come back!

We stopped in for lunch and were blown away. For an appetizer we had the huge plate of samurai tarot tots which were outstanding. I had the Mac and cheese with pulled pork which really hit the spot, but couldn't finish the whole bowl after the tator tots. Similarly my wife had most of her Roost burger which was fantastic as well. Loved the decor and vibe of the place and our waiter was polite and attentive. Just all around great place.

I cannot say enough positive things about this awesome restaurant in a slice of Americana. First, the people are super friendly and attentive. The decor is so impressive. It is like a funky art museum and included hand wood burned pub tables. Great drink and beer menu! The food was amazing. I had the chicken cheese steak, and being from Phila I am a tough critic. It rivaled Pat's in South Philly. I also had a side of Mac and cheese, which was so cheesy and delicious. My husband had the hot wings, and they are quite hotter than what is served in Philly. He ate every last bite. Don

This place is absolutely perfect. The food, the drinks, the lighting fixtures, the bar stools (the most comfortable ever). Erin was awesome, and the mac and cheese was to die for! The locals we chatted with made it even better. This was definitely the highlight of our day and with great drinks, food and staff we will return.

The Roost has excellent, high-quality, locally-sourced food and vegan and vegetarian options. The Roost has awesome service even when it's busy and the people there truly care about the community and about doing their job well.
Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries recently held an event at The Roost to celebrate the adoption of an animal that had been severely neglected. The Roost held a special in which 75% of their profit on drinks was donated to the shelter. SO GENEROUS!!!!! What an amazing bunch of people! THANK YOU!
I will be making a point to go back here as often as possible due to their

Visiting this cute old town for a work event. Restaurants here usually close early but this particular evening we were lucky at 8:30 to be let in and waited on at the bar.
My husband ordered the burger medium (came out well) he said it was ok and the tors were over deep fried.
My spinach steak salad would've been a lot better if it didn't have the steak on it. Not sure if it was steak but did not taste appealing at all. Other than the food, the service was great. Probably would come back here to try something different and for the atmosphere.

After making an impromptu 3-hour drive to spend a few hours biking and hiking the PA Grand Canyon, I headed into town for lunch. As I approached The Roost, I saw patrons at multiple tables enjoying beers, so I thought I would stop in for a drink while I figured out my lunch situation. That decision quickly changed.
Although it was 2:00 on a Saturday, most of the tables and seats at the bar were full. I found an open seat at the bar and was immediately greeted and given a menu. My eyes instantly locked on a 'Specials Menu' printout as I read Iced Maple Pub Coffee. With my drink ordered
