Taylor was born and raised in New Martinsville, WV and graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Taylor worked in claims before opening the doors to his own State Farm agency in 2016. He is a second generation State Farm agent, following in the footsteps of his mother, Lisa Shepherd.

Taylor is a board member of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Rotary and UMAC. Taylor, his wife, Kate and their dog, Chili, enjoy spending time with friends and family. In their free time, they travel, hike, walk Chili and explore everything Moundsville has to offer them! Taylor's favorite thing about this community is small local business owners supporting each other!

I couldn't be happier with the amount of money that this agency has saved for me. My premium with Geico was VERY high, and Taylor shocked me when I was offered a much more affordable premium. Everyone at the office is kind, polite, and efficient---even the office dog! I haven't had to file a claim, thank goodness, and if I do, I hope all goes well. I HIGHLY recommend Tayor Shepherd and State Farm.

Every person that works there is great! Any question I have whether it's Taylor's or another agent, they always have the answers. I've also got a great deal on my insurance that includes alot of the extra's and it's still cheaper than anywhere else. I highly recommend this place than any other.
