Southern Dropcloth Painting on the Northshore provides the highest quality professional interior and exterior services for small commercial, historical, and residential properties. We are a local painting company founded by husband and wife. Chris and Sandy are both natives of New Orleans, newlyweds and recent residents of the Northshore.
Chris is a UNO graduate with over 14 years in operating a construction business. Sandy has over 20 years experience in owning and managing small businesses on the North and South shore. Both are customer service driven and take special care of their client's needs. We use the highest quality paint and materials from Sherwin Williams, but can also accommodate any other paint preferences you have.

Chris and his team exceeded my expectations. I purchased a fixer-upper & I hired him to paint basically my entire interior top to bottom....scrape popcorn, modernize the fireplace, update the kitchen cabinets...everything. ....and I was states away packing a moving truck! He was very professional & polite. He communicated with me well & often. He is trustworthy—he started & finished when he said he would, he updated me via text/calls, and he offered great advice. No run-around nonsense. His background as a general contractor proved very helpful and I value his opinion and years of experience

I've used Southern Drop Cloth Painting on a number of projects and can't recommend them highly enough. Most recently I had an area of water damaged sheetrock that needed to be replaced and repainted. The job came out perfect. You can't tell where the repair was made, which included matching a light texture in the damaged area. Chris and his company do great work at a great price. He is the one person I call for all of my painting work. Give him a try and he will become your "go to" person as well. Highly recommended!

With out a doubt this was the best company that has painted in my home. Chris is very professional and makes excellent recommendations. His work crew arrived on time and only took a brief lunch, They also stayed until the end of the day. There work was fabulous and didn't make a mess in my den; not to mentions they where extremely polite. I used Southern Dropcloth upon a recommendation and couldn't be more satisfied. Will definitely use them in the future! Great customer service!

I wanted to say that my wife and I were very well pleased with the professional job that Chris and his employees did with both the painting and other jobs that was done at my home. Chris was very responsive to what we wanted done and found his quotes very reasonable and the quality of the work was second to none. We are so happy to have come across Southern Dropcloth and would recommend their services. I definitely would suggest giving them a call.
