Sports Medicine Acupuncture is an integrative approach of assessment and treatment that combines both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Sports Medicine. We combine Postural Assessment, Functional Movement Screening, Orthopedic Assessment and Special Tests, along with Traditional Chinese diagnostic techniques to create a custom tailored treatment plan for each individual.

I have been going to Uzi for treatments every time I have an injury in the past 5 years. Uzi is attentive and caring , he also explain what he is doing and why . Lately I was suffering from inflammation and pain in my knee , so I decided to ask Uzi to treat me again, and after 3 sessions my knee started to heal and today I took my first exercise walk with my wife after 3 months. I was able to do it without pain . This was an amazing feeling to get my knee back , thank you!

Before seeing Uzi I hadn’t been able to sleep lying down in over a month, with constant pain radiating from my neck down through my shoulder and elbow. After my first session with him I was immediately able to lay flat without that intense pain. After each session my recovery continued improving, and he was always very much in tune to where we had left off and what progress had been made. I would highly recommend Uzi to anyone, it was my first encounter with acupuncture and it certainly exceeded my expectations.

Dr. Chen was absolutely incredible. After a surfing accident, I suffered from a strained MCL. Dr. Chen diagnosed my injury methodically and got to work. Prior to the treatment, I could hardly get in the door. Post initial treatment, I was almost running out the door. Dr. Chen got me confidently back on my feet within a few days and back in the water within a few weeks.
I would highly recommend this practice and Dr. Uzi Chen to anyone that is looking for acupuncture and an actual healing touch.

I had the most incredible experience with Uzi. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. I loved how he explained every step of the way with so much patience. When we started the process I couldn’t walk and could barely move and suffered tremendous pain. After only 3 sessions I could finally move again and walk normally. Uzi is like a magician. I highly recommend his treatment.

We’ve been coming to Sean for a couple of years now for my two teenage daughters who are competitive volleyball players. Our experience has been nothing short of awesome. My eldest tore her acl recently. Sean was able to get the swelling down and the leg straight before her operation, which is critical for the best prognosis, way ahead of schedule for someone with that sort of injury. Even the surgeon was surprised by her progress. We also use Sean for general injuries and post workout stiffness. He is friendly, trustworthy, interesting to talk to and dedicated to his craft. Highly recommend

I was a coach at a gym where Sean used to train and was aware of his practice. When my back went out on my moving boxes I went to him Immediately. The best part was he was very quickly able to give me a diagnosis of what was wrong and what the next steps were for me to recover. He made it feel better the day of the treatment and I was fully recovered in less then a week.

This place came highly recommended by a friend.
My right shoulder was in so much pain. I had calcium deposits causing sever inflammation that prevented me from being able to move my shoulder and arm. From the first acupuncture therapy I felt so much better. 3 treatments later I gained almost full range of motion and no pain.
Uzi and his team were incredible. They took such good care of me and always made sure to go the extra mile and take care of the surrounding areas of my shoulder and really make sure I get better each time I see them.

Dr Uzi Chen was amazing! I have had chronic neck pain from structural damage for as long as I could remember and nothing (physical therapy, steroidal injections, etc.) was able to provide relief until I tried acupuncture. Uzi explains every part of the process and makes sure you are comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and an incredibly sweet man. Highly recommend to anyone suffering from chronic pain!

Just so you all know, I don't take the time to write reviews unless I have experienced amazing service and results. In the past, my experiences with other acupuncture treatments were neither memorable or effective. I don't know how Sean does this but he can read the body and he knows exactly where to pinpoint - pun intended!
