You’ll want to stay away from this guy
My car went in for a water pump on my particular model car the water pump is also part of the balance shafts
There is a special tool used to do this water pump so that you don’t have to take off the timing cover. This is what he used. When my car was brought in I brought it in for a coolant leak ( which turned out to be the water pump) and to check the motor mounts. No vibrations
He replaced the water pump and One motor mount. When I picked up the car it had a bad vibration which was not there when I brought it to him.
He then said that it’s possible

I have been taking my vehicles here since I moved to New Milford. They were recommended by a friend. Every time I bring one of my vehicles here for repair or service Dimitri is always fair and upfront with what my vehicle needs. He does not try to upsell or add on things that my vehicle does not actually need. I appreciate this kind of service which is hard to find now a days. This was our first experience with Affordable and it was excellent. Our Kia Soul was locked in park because of a broken transmission linkage. We had it towed into Affordable Automotive after hours and they looked at it first thing the next day. Found the problem but, due to Covid related shipping delays no one could get the part. They looked everywhere and managed to get a part after four weeks, keeping us updated as they searched for the linkage. Fixed it immediately and got us back on the road - for exactly what they estimated. We will be back for all future service needs!!!

Found a time for me later in the day, did quality work, communicated everything clearly and provided excellent customer service! Such a great experience; when I picked up my vehicle I scheduled another appointment. Will be my go-to mechanic from now on.

Best shop in New Milford. Any time I’ve had an issue with my car Dimitri has been able to diagnose and fix it. Whether it was the heat not working in my Buick Lacrosse which needed the thermostat changed, the alternator needing to be replaced in my Ford Contour, or more recently my car being very loud while driving which needed the catalytic converter, central pipe, and shocks needing to be replaced in my Juke. All of which I was able to wait while the work was being done. Any thing I’m not able to fix myself I 100% trust
