From routine cleanings and fillings to bruxism devices, Joseph Pitts, DDS is equipped to handle all your dental needs. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.

Pitts earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Georgia, graduating Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors in 2000. Dr. Pitts was a member of the University's men's tennis team from 1996-2000.

Highly recommend! I send all of my friends here, that are in the area. I've tried 2 dental offices before I found Dr. Pitts, in the past 8 years, and wish I had found them sooner! Dr. Pitts and his staff never try to sell you anything you don't need. The dentist hygienist I see is also super nice and friendly. Appointments are always followed promptly.

I have been going for years. They are a kind and caring staff, from the receptionists to the dental hygienists to the dentists. They not only corrected a messy cavity filling from my previous dentist, but they were patient with my anxiety during my next cavity filling. Highly recommended for their professionalism and courtesy.

Didn't make it in the door!! I called to make an appointment and verify they accepted my insurance and the receptionist was very rude! I did not like her tone or attitude. After seeing the reviews I was very excited to give this office a try since I am ready... (have the money now! LOL) to get my teeth fixed. I will spend my money somewhere else.

I was referred to Dr Pitts Dental office through my girlfriend, after explaining to her my past troubles with other dental offices. Dr Pitts Dental office saw my son (new patient) the same afternoon I called to make an appt. They gave him a professional cleaning with braces. We were nervous when we first arrived.They immediately put us at ease and made us fell comfortable. They found an issue, gave us options and a plan to take care of them. This dental team is courteous and smart. We are so pleased to be their new patients.

We heard about Dr. Pitts from a friend who drives all the way from Hogansville to go to this practice. We have gone to them for four years and find them to be professional, competent and the whole staff is that way as well as friendly. We moved and now we go there from Ball Ground, Ga. They don't try to sell you on upgraded services. In fact, if you ask for something that they don't think that you need, they will talk you out of it.
