The Fylstra name has been synonymous with accounting for generations, beginning with Bob's father, and continuing with his son, James. Prior to the establishment of the firm, Bob worked as a CPA for over three decades, developing a high level of expertise in a variety of accounting disciplines.

Bob is the founding member of Fylstra & Fylstra, LLC and has over thirty years of experience in public practice. Prior to the formation of the firm, Bob received his BA in Business Economics from Calvin College and his MBA in accounting from Rutgers University. He started his career working with his father, and his strong family values continue today with the recent addition of his son, James to the firm.

During the stressful tax season, you would like to have someone to rely on and trust. Bob, Lori and their son are very knowledgeable, experienced and professional. You can be absolutely certain that all your expenses, and deductions will be maximized to provide the lowest tax liability and done on time. Bob does my accounting and Lori does my bookkeeping, and it's a great combination: I get fast and accurate work, and it's great to have a bookkeeper with instant access to a CPA. They are friendly, they do top notch work, and they work with honesty and integrity.

I've been having my taxes prepared by Fylsta & Filstra, LLC for many years and I've always been completely satisfied with the work they have done. Before you know it tax time will be here once again, but I'm happy to say that working with Filstra & Filstra has taken a lot of the pain out of the tax preparation process.
