Roy and Lucille McKinstry, Sr.
They operated the funeral home and ambulance service for Colquitt and Miller County until 1949 when their son, H. Roy McKinstry, Jr. returned from the Navy to help run the family business. Roy (Porky) McKinstry, Jr. married Dorothy Oldham in 1949. Roy McKinstry, Sr., Lucille McKinstry, Roy McKinstry, Jr. and Dorothy McKinstry were all licensed funeral directors and operated the funeral home together for nearly 50 years.
