At Safari Learning we believe that young learners need access to wonderful, open-ended materials and equipment that stimulate thought, play, analysis, evaluation, oral language, cooperation, interaction - and just plain fun. Not all things have to be considered "educational" to be educational.
We continually provide a unique, innovative and integrated curriculum (concepts, products and materials) that aligns with the principles for developmental learning as established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).Best teaching practices, based on well-established and rigorous research, guide our curriculum choices and approaches.

It is our mission as the Board of Directors, the director, teachers, and aides of Safari Learning to work diligently to reach all students, ages 18 months through seven years, according to their needs and abilities. It is our goal to teach to the WHOLE child by encouraging self-discovery, a love of learning, to care for others as well as oneself, and an empathy and appreciation of the diversity we see in other people, cultures and customs.
At Safari Learning we believe that young learners need access to wonderful, open-ended materials and equipment that stimulate thought, play, analysis, evaluation, oral language, cooperation, interaction-and just plain fun. Not all things have to be considered "educational" to be educational. A child can take a stapler and turn it into a rocket ship.
The goals and standards established by our director and teachers (and parents as appropriate) help children learn how to solve problems, cope with challenges, and develop oral language skills to enable them to communicate positively with others. School readiness is a benchmark for our students as they progress throughout the years.
Ali attended Dublin High School through independent study, and was able to graduate a year early. She took advantage of that time by going to Diablo Valley College, volunteering at her local church in Dublin, and nannying for several families. After that, she worked at Valley Christian Preschool for two years.
At Safari Learning we believe that young learners need access to wonderful, open-ended materials and equipment that stimulate thought, play, analysis, evaluation, oral language, cooperation, interaction - and just plain FUN. Here we take students on a "learning safari" in our safe, supervised, state-of-the-art facility, including individual indoor playrooms and playgrounds for each age group.
