Daniel Bryan Snead graduated from Auburn University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then attended dental school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, graduating as a board-qualified orthodontist. After two years of practicing dentistry with the U.S. Army at Fort Knox, he returned to Birmingham to specialize in orthodontics.
