Services
We are an inexpensive boutique Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel. Our building is beach front, and three of our 18 rooms have a huge panoramic view facing the ocean. Close to Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood Intl Airport, very close to the main cruise port, across the street from the beach, and close to the intercoastal waterway which is toured by the Water Taxi.
Every room offers a flat screen tv, air conditioning, refrigerator, desk area, bathroom, WIFI. The Oceanfront, Double King, and Executive King rooms have a kitchenette. Kitchenettes house a bar sink, bar table and stools, kitchenware, glasses and plates, a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Keep in mind if you feel like being a chef, you can take a rest as there is a historic restaurant next door called Casablanca.
This is our take on a backpacker room. We reserve it primarily for students and backpackers on a budget, who still want the beachfront experience. It does not come with a king sized bed. We do not offer parking with it either. It has a twin bunk bed.
It is a small cozy room, measuring 125 square feet and is meant specifically for backpackers, students or travelers on a budget traveling without a car (again - we do not offer parking with this room.)It is our most economical room, so please don't reserve it if your focus is the pictures from our premium oceanfront suite!

This surprisingly large room has two full size king beds and is 450 square feet. It also has a kitchenette. We have five of these room types and it is our largest room. Even if you don't have four guests to maximize the space, it's still nice to have an extra bed to throw clothes onto. This room is great for families, friends that don't want to sleep in the same bed, and people that need space after shopping at sawgrass mills mall.
This room is one of a kind, we only have one. It is more of a suite/lounge than a room. With its elegant orange walls and chill feel, it sits in the back of the hotel tucked away from the beach boulevard, and is very spacious. The beginning of the second floor is an open air patio. The end of the second floor is this room.

Snooze is a fantastic hotel. My husband and I love the simplicity of it and it's history. The view and location are great. Flying in to Ft. Lauderdale, we loved that Snooze provided beach towels, beach chairs, sunscreen and more. We also packed less knowing we could do laundry here.

*please read, If I can save anyone their time and money DONT STAY HERE.The only reason why, this "hotel" is getting 2 stars is because it is directly across from the beach other then that stay far away. My boyfriend and I selected this hotel, because the pictures seemed nice online, and it was a special occasion, trust me we were fooled. The hotels must have been 15 years ago. We got there and paid for them room then took the scariest elevator ride of a lifetime up 1 floor, we thought it was going to break that's how bad it sounded. I stay here EVERY time I come to Ft Lauderdale! It’s an AMAZING location with clean rooms and amazing views. The standard rooms are more economical but don’t offer window views of the ocean however just walk outside and you’ll see it! I try to stay in the ocean view rooms as they are outstanding. My favorite restaurants are within walking distance and this stay we tried the Everglades Day Safari which picked us up in the hotel parking lot! I’ve never had a bad experience! Matt, the manager, was very accommodating and helpful with a great smile! My husband and I love the rooftop terrace

Can't say enough about this place - BOOK Here! I was in Ft.L for a week and stayed in 3 different hotels on the beach.
Is this hotel super fancy and a giant corporate owned hotel with fancy lights and wallpaper - no. Is it a smaller hotel with super clean rooms, really friendly staff, an amazing rooftop, and all the free beach gear you could want - YES. Highly recommend if you have kids along, just because of the beach toys and stuff.
100% this is the only place I'll stay next time I'm in Ft.L.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! I’ve stayed here twice. We found it by accident last year. It turned out to be one of the nicest places with the nicest staff and such a wonderful surprise. We only stayed one night the first time and They were so nice they let us leave our car parked there and go to the beach across the street and get in and out to use the bathroom. They are really nice people. And the rooms do look like the pictures. And that is unusual. It’s so clean and it’s a delightful to be directly across from the beach. This is a great place to stay. Matt was working the desk when we checked in and he upgraded our room for free. The room was amazing with incredible views. I really couldnt believe how great this hotel was. Guests are treated like royalty and get discounts on a bunch of stuff including jet ski rentals.... I will not stay anywhere else. I saw a sea turtle swimming next to me! Almost forgot about the fancy rooftop patio.

Adorable little hotel, I would come back again and again. Matt the manager could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We got an ocean view king room and it was so nice, the pics are accurate on the website. We had an issue with the air conditioner on day two and it was fixed immediately. We had an abundance of clean towels which was awesome. They even provide beach towels, chairs, mats, sunscreen, everything you need for the beach. Super affordable and no extra parking or resort fees which was definitely the initial appeal. Went in not expecting much and was so pleasantly surprised. Would

I had the beach view room on the 2nd floor. It was amazing! The room was clean and spacious. I woke up watching the sunrise then went back to sleep for a bit. There is an outdoor lounge right outside the window but I never heard anyone out there. I had to close my curtain to shower because the people out there could see in. At least I couldn't hear them! The roof top is gorgeous too. Plenty of beach chairs etc. Staff is waaay toooo helpful! Will definitely stay again. Ft Lauderdale is way too hot in May. Will go in winter.

My friend and I wanted to get away for a relaxing girls weekend and one of the best decisions we made was staying at Snooze! We even stayed in the dorm room to save money and still had the best weekend. The room was immaculately clean, and the staff went out of their way to make sure you had a good stay. It was such a perk to have access to the beach supplies and sunscreen without paying a daily resort fee, while staying right across the street from the beach! If I return to Fort Lauderdale, I won't even consider other places to stay. I may however upgrade to one of the rooms with an ocean

This is a great diamond in the rough hotel on the beach. We stayed here 1 night post cruise and were not disappointed. The room was huge and had the best ocean view. It is walking distance to everything you need. If you do have a car, the parking is free. There are no resort fees either. They have anything you could need for the beach right there to borrow. Staff are all very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Fort Lauderdale.

This hotel definitely deserves these five stars. My best friend and I stayed here for one night after dropping my husband at th airport. From the outside it looks tiny and a little older but the room was spacious and updated. The person who checked us in was so friendly and explained everything to us (they have a secret code to make the elevator work after a certain time.) And then told us on the first floor they had everything we needed to go to the beach that we could use for free including sunscreen!!!! The top floor patio was gorgeous! We didnt visit the one on the second floor. The room smelled

Very surprising decor and quality for a little two story hotel. Booked this for our last night in FL after a cruise. It was highly recommended by friends so naturally I booked it without questions. Upon arriving it looks like a little motel in the middle of big ones on the beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating as we arrived hours before check in. They provided us with towels, beach chairs and umbrellas to go enjoy the beach which was literally across the street. The inside was absolutely stunning! The shower was amazing with the waterfall shower head. The decor was fresh and perfect

What a great experience I had this weekend. The room was VERY clean on top of the fact that it was absolutely beautiful! There is a rooftop that you can sit on and watch the ocean along with the fact that each floor has a balcony! The manager was the best! Very accommodating and they have beach chairs, sunscreen, and plenty of things to bring with you to the beach. They have a grill and laundry as well. I will DEFINITELY be staying here next time I go to Ft. Lauderdale. It beats staying in a hotel with 200 plus rooms. It's a secret gem! They made our vacation great!!

Highly recommend. Found this place just from renting a car and driving by the beach. Pulled in and they showed me their best room, the oceanfront suite. First impression was wow, super clean and spacious and amazing view. I spent most of my time at the beach and local bars but I loved the room I came back to. Reception was very friendly and they have free parking. They also had chairs and beach lounge stuff to take with you. WiFi was a plus and worked great. The hotel had a chill area outside my room and also a big rooftop with lounging chairs. I can say Fort Lauderdale is a great town and better

The location is perfect! The front staff is very friendly and this is a nice small hotel . The bed is comfortable, the amenities were perfect and the AC runs very cold. Restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance and the beach is literally across the street. The rooms are quit with no street noise, and we loved our stay

We had a great experience staying in this hotel. Matt was a great host and treat us like family. The room and bathroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though we did not have oceanfront we could see the ocean from our window. We just cross the road and the beach was right there. I really like the security with cameras all around the building. I really recommend this Hotel. We'll be back soon!!!

Great hotel- right on A1A. We booked an oceanfront room. Awesome view. They have a great rooftop to hangout at with comfy seating. They provide everything you need for the beach which is right across the street- chairs, boogie boards, towels, floats, sunblock. We loved that part. Our room had a little kitchenette with a fridge, coffee pot, microwave, toast, sink. They lost a star because the linens were a little rough and the bed squeaked. They also charge you 2.99% to pay for your room with a credit card. Which we were not aware of beforehand. We would stay here again. Can beat the location. And

Had a quick stay here as I missed my connecting flight due to weather. This was just by chance but it was the perfect hotel and I'm going to bring my wife here for vacation. They were able to check me in after the office closed which I appreciate very much. They were very thorough when contacing me and the room was massive, I was shocked when I walked in. I didn't realize how breathtaking the views were until the morning since when I checked in it was night. The Snooze Hotel was a fabulous find and I felt blessed to stay here even though it was only for one night. I came across Snooze while on trip advisor and even though it was rated a 2 and a half star hotel, I decided to give it a chance because the reviews were top notch. Well, Snooze certainly delivered and was even better than most so called five star hotels out here. Before checking into the room officially, David was extremely gracious and helpful. He even let me store my mom's birthday cake in a refrigerator before officially checking in. He was also flexible when it came to checking

stay-cation and we were not dissapointed. We didn't need a car to go out and drink or find a place to enjoy dinner. Everything is within a short walking distance of the hotel. The beach, beach place, elbow room all the good stuff :)
Matt was super polite and helpful in showing us around. I wish it didn't rain so much because I was all about taking water toys they have out lol. Oh well there's always next time!!
