Dr. Ricks was born and raised in Mandeville, LA in a full household with five siblings. She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2012 with Bachelor's in Biological Sciences and completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Mississippi in 2017.

AMMAZZING! I’m probably the worst when it comes to the fear of dentists! After today I don’t think I’m terrified anymore. Mrs. Ricks is so nice. (Everyone is nice, the entire staff!) I didn’t feel judged for my teeth, I felt completely comfortable! I feel like she’s there because she loves her job, not just because she has to be there. I didn’t feel a thing, no pain whatsoever! I definitely recommend this place! (:
