Step Ahead Learning Center provides quality child care and learning programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre kindergartners. Our center is conveniently located next to the Pleasant Hill BART Station. We have been operating early childhood educational programs since 1996. Help children grow up in a safe and nurturing environment, and at the same time assist them to become self reliant and independent.

Step Ahead Learning Center provides early childhood education conducive to the total growth and development of children. Step Ahead Learning Center accepts children without regard to race, color, creed or sex, who will benefit from programs that offer a balance of self-directive play and the opportunity to creatively express themselves.
OUR MISSION is to provide the best care and learning experience to our children to help them expand their curiosity and creativity in a warm, secure and nurturing environment. Provide outstanding care and learning programs to develop and satisfy each child's social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs, and prepare the child for elementary school.
The programs at Step Ahead Learning Center focus on the developmental needs of a child as a total person - his/her social growth, emotional growth, physical and cognitive growth. We organize activities that introduce children to life experience through art, science, stories, cooking, music and movement.
