Run by Licensed Acupuncturist Lee Entel Hurter, Moving Points is dedicated to providing client-centered, trauma-informed, body-positive, and harm-reduction based treatments. Mobile Treatments available. I can provide treatments at your home in Wheat Ridge, Denver, Lakewood, Edgewater, Arvada, and Littleton.
An ancient system of complementary techniques, acupuncture uses the stimulation of certain points on the body (also known as acu-points) with very small sterile needles. Ear acupuncture, foot acupuncture, and other modern acupuncture treatments can be used to balance the body for improved health and fertility, reduced pain, and to treat mental, physical, and emotional imbalances.

Lee is amazing! I felt so comfortable working with him, and immediately relaxed as soon as I sat down for the intake session. He was so thorough in addressing my concerns and helped bring out some issues that I didn't even realize could be addressed with acupuncture. While I have been a user of acupuncture for many years, cupping and moxa were both new to me, as well as his approach of 5 element acupuncture.
Licensed acupuncturist Lee Entel Hurter offers acupuncture appointments at his practice located in a Lakewood, CO wellness center. Office treatments take place in a private, clean, professional, and calm setting. Treatments are also offered by Lee at Apothecary Tinctura in central Denver. Unfortunately, the office is not wheelchair accessible.
In an effort to treat as wide of a variety of people as possible, I offer mobile acupuncture. The idea behind mobile acupuncture is simple - I come to you and perform acupuncture in your home. I am aware that there are a number of reasons related to health and ability, emotional comfort or safety, and time/availability that makes it easier for people to be treated within their own home or workplace.
Classical Five-Element Acupuncture focuses on the whole person and on understanding deeply rooted patterns of imbalance. While treating symptoms is a significant part of this method, there are often underlying problems that lead to symptoms that 5-element acupuncture tries to address. The philosophy of 5-element encourages a life of simplicity and non-interference with the course of natural events in order to attain happiness and harmony.
I can provide needle-less treatments for clients who are needle-shy or for people (such as young children) who are otherwise sensitive to needles. Needleless treatments can include acupressure, cupping, ear magnet and seed therapy, shiatsu, shoni-shin, zero balancing, herb/nutrition consultations, and/or moxa.

Report
As a Rolfer, I've experienced so many different healing modalities and so many different practitioners. Lee is such a delight to work with. He made me feel so heard while doing a very thorough intake. And 3 days after our first session, the anger I'd been wrestling with for a full month just disappeared. Since then, I've had a deep sense of calm along with the feeling of hope and possibility, something that had been lacking for a long time. I'm so, so grateful for Lee, and can't wait to do more sessions with him!
