Through photographing people, I find a deeper connection to the art. It's a great feeling to watch awkwardness dissolve and confidence follow, resulting in high fives and laughter at the end of photo shoots. Portraits have come far since the days of stiffly posed portraits in studios. I'll nudge you in the right direction as far as posing, finding a balance to keep things flowing and natural.
Remember your last year with a fun and easy photo experience that highlights you at your best. You'll receive a short questionnaire to help deepen this knowledge and I'll see your style emerge. Before the shoot, we'll confirm locations and wardrobe based on your style. As your shoot approaches, I'll be watching the weather and confirm the day before with a meet point.
I provide busy families a meaningful pause with an easy, uplifting photo session that will give them time to connect and quality photos to cherish. Life can move fast, especially for families. I understand that it's hard to slow down and take a moment to capture the present. You may take snapshots with your phone, but often miss the moment or they get buried and forgotten.

Sheri is absolutely amazing! She did my fiance and I's engagement photos and we couldn't have been happier with the entire process and the results! Not only did Sheri make us feel comfortable during the shoot, but she provided guidance on the different poses we should be doing as well as laughs that helped us loosen up a bit. Her blend of professionalism and down-to-earth demeanor truly made for an enjoyable experience.

Our family met Sheri in Northern Michigan as we traveled from Indiana “up north” for skis and a family winter photo shoot. From the first communication, Sheri had ideas for the perfect spot for our shoot. She was prompt in getting back to me and we were quickly able to schedule our day/time. My husband, 2 children and I made our way to the beautiful location in Harbor Springs, MI. Sheri greeted us, made us feel welcome and we set off outside to the spots she had designated and envisioned for our photo shoot. Now as a mom, photo shoot day is typically stressful with 2 children (ages 9 & 6),
