The owner of Cutting Edge Hair Salon. My career in the hair industry started right out of high school. I attended community college while working cutting hair and graduated with an AAS degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been a hairstylist for 25 years now. I am married and have 2 young boys.

This owner is extremely unprofessional and thus I DO NOT recommend this place. My sister scheduled herself and 3 bridesmaids for makeup and 2 for hair. We were asked to come at 11:00AM . However she only had 1 makeup artist who took close to 1.5 hours on 1 person. So 2 of us were unable to have our services done. Services that she made us pay for and tip in advance. Well when it came time to refund she thought it would be acceptable to keep the tip even though the services were not completed! Do you think she even bothered to return any calls or messages left requesting she reimburse the total

Nice girl, but she needs contemporary training! I brought a picture of a pixie cut I wanted, she looked at it once, then went to town. When I got home I realized that she had cut my hair much shorter than in the picture and completely blunt, no texture at all! Unlike the wispy style I had asked for. She also did this weird asymmetric thing that might have looked cool, but just kind of stuck out and looked awkward. I fixed it all as best I could with some thinning shears, but the rest will need to grow out several inches before I can try for the look again. I'm not angry, but she needs to update

My son Tucker has sensory issues so a haircut actually hurts him. Tracy at Cutting Edge was amazing! She gave him breaks and got him through it. Some of the other staff also pitched in to make him more comfortable. It’s wasn't easy but it wasn’t terrible. I would highly recommend this Salon! They didn’t have to deal with him but they did. So many others have been afraid to touch him. Thank you to the entire staff and I’ll see you in three weeks with him again!

I have been going to Cutting Edge for a little over a year now. My stylist Carissa is absolutely amazing. She doesn't just cut hair. She works well with you to figure out a style that will work well with your face shape and hair type. She has a great sense of style and does beautiful color. I have never had a bad hair cut or color from her. She also cuts my children's hair and is very patient with them. Great stylist and very personable.
