This modern hotel in downtown Yakima is a great base from which to explore the Yakima Valley and their fantastic wineries. It is within convenient walking distance from great restaurants and the convention center. Staff are friendly and professional. They have wine tasting in the lobby and we received a bottled of their own labeled wine upon arrival A sweet place to stay.
This is a marvelous boutique type hotel. It feels special from the moment you walk into the lobby. The staff are quite pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are nicely spartan in appearance and comfort. It is one of, if not, the quietest hotels I have stayed in.

I'm so glad we chose to stop at Hotel Maison. The staff was lovely and the room was very clean, safe, and beautiful. We really enjoyed our breakfast & they honored our special request. Parking was very safe and only $10 overnight. Most notably, we left a pillow and they took the time to send it to us!!! We happily paid shipping costs as this was an expensive pillow. Thank you for a great experience! I'll come back anytime I'm in Yakima.

Seems unfair to rate this place since i’ve not spent the night, but i have done wine tastings here and in really appreciate the art in the lobby and the support of the larson gallery.
i was able to tour the temple with the owner and it was unbelievably cool/beautiful.
as far as location, it’s next to everything and very walkable to yakima’s best restaurants and a really great brewery.

The pros are the rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. There are black out curtains.. There is very little of the old charm from the original building. The cons for me are the fact that you can hear footstep and when showers are running in rooms above and around you. Also, there is a very loud central fan sound in the bathroom. I also did not like the shower. The control for the water flow and placement of the shower head was not good. Also, the television is small and controlling the stations was very hard.

Location was great. Room and staff were ok. But the night staff person was very rude. You have to get buzzed back in after hours or ask for coffee if it's out in the lobby. The night staff person seemed annoyed to let my wife back in and refused to make any coffee before the AM despite the sign that said "just ask."

The rooms were clean and the king bed was very comfortable; the water pressure in the shower was lacking, but it didn't bother us since we were there only one night. In the lobby area they have a really cute reading/work area, perfect if you are traveling for work. The breakfast was good, but the portions and selection was limited (understandable during these crazy times)

The hotel lobby and public area are beautiful but the rooms are not worth what you pay. It appears upscale, but… isn't. The windows in the rooms are odd and too high to be of much use. They are also single paned, which allows LOTS of outside noise- construction and a main thoroughfare. It's an historic building which they tried to convert. Would be a decent place if the prices were more resonable.
