Chuck Dabler grew up in an era with a love for cars, and collision repair. He graduated from OTI with degrees in collision repair and business. In 1967, he started a Volkswagen dealer shop on Lancaster Drive, with the help of the Eyerly family. Rapid growth from the Volkswagen-Porsche-Audi shop necessitated the need to build a state of the art, over 8,000 square foot facility.
In 1977, he moved to this current location and Chuck Dabler Auto Body became the family-owned business it is today! An additional 8,000 square feet was added later, making us one of the largest independently owned auto body facilities in the Salem area. Our reputation of using skilled craftsmen and quality materials has generated word of mouth and return customer satisfaction, and has been our primary advertising medium for many years.

Excellent service. DeWalt with insurance company so I didn't have to. Fixed covered damage and handled a couple other issues at reasonable cost to me. Finished all work by scheduled date and even washed my car. Good people are pleasant to work with. Overall very good experience

Both my insurance company, Farmers, and a trusted friend recommended this business for body work for my Toyota Camry after it sustained driver side damage in an accident. Dabler process was fantastic from Jacob Miner's estimate to the body work completed. Car repair was immaculate. Their customer service is exemplary and the two gentlemen driving me for shuttle service when I was dropping off and picking up of vehicle were outstanding. The car was ready over a week earlier than promised. Good experience on all levels.

I used Dabler recently, and must say that I don’t have one complaint. They were so amazing start to finish. I was rear ended and going through the other person’s insurance. The folks at the insurance company were awful to work with, but Dabler made everything so easy and seamless. I am so glad that I chose to work with them. My car needed to be fixed after an accident and I chose Dabler Auto Body. They got it back to new and even cleaned out the inside for me which meant even more to me because after the accident it got broken into in a tow yard so all of my stuff was strewn all over the car and things were missing. I had a great experience with Dabler. When I first got my quote Dennis was very friendly, answered all my questions and thoroughly explained everything that would be done to my car.
My car has a three stage paint that is very hard to match and they matched it perfectly, you would never know my car was hit.
They gave me several phone calls throughout the repair to let me know how things were going with my car, I really appreciated that.
When I picked up my car they had thoroughly detailed the outside of my car and it looked great!

Update: I wanted to give 5 stars to Dabler, but here's the story. When we got our car fixed through them after an auto accident, their mechanic had said we have "old and loose parts, unrelated to the accident" that we'd want to get looked at soon. About a month or so after the repair, our van was driving worse than ever. It was tugging towards the side of the van that got hit. We were about two hours away on a trip when it suddenly took a drastic turn south and we started back home. The tugging to the right got so intense we blew a tire on the freeway.
