Meg Bowman Photography is no ordinary studio. With over 12 years of experience under our belts, including attendance at workshops and classes on a regular basis, we create original works of art in a heartfelt and professional manner. Our images are widely known for their striking use of color and light, and we have won several awards along the way.
I'm Meg Bowman, and I've been photographing babies for over 10 years. I believe there is not a moment more magical than when one becomes a parent. It is an honor to be a part of capturing this amazing process, and documenting one of the most special times in life. Why? Well, truly, babies are incredible creatures.
Each of our milestone collections includes artist's time and talent for each session, all prop and prop clothing usage, and personal ordering appointment after each session. We offer studio as well as on-location sessions depending on baby's age and season. Our sessions may take a bit of time and work, but they're well worth it!
I've been photographing newborns for over 10 years and can say with confidence that the best newborn portraits come from a seasoned photographer working with a happy, comfortable baby. They take patience, too!. Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 30-35 weeks to ensure that we don't schedule too close to your due date, but that you are far enough along to have an amazingly full belly to show off!

Meg Bowman is absolutely the best photographer that I have worked with. She has been our family's photographer for almost 3 years and I couldn't be happier with how all of our photos have turned out. We have been with Meg Bowman Photography since my daughter was born and have relied on her incredible work to capture the most special moments of all of our children since. Meg's prices are very reasonable for the finished product you will receive. She has been flexible with our needs and scheduling. The photos of my children taken by Meg that now decorate my entire home have been one of my most worthwhile investments. Meg Bowman was the photographer for our wedding. I loved how she asked what we wanted to see in our wedding photos. This makes each wedding she does have its own unique photos. A second photographer came to the wedding, which was great because there were shots taken from all different angles and nothing was missed. Meg has an upbeat, enthusiastic personality, and she communicates well! Her photographs are superior with vivid colors, clarity and tons of details. Meg Bowman Photography also has many different options for displaying the final products! It was neat to see all of the different options

I can't recommend Meg Bowman Photography enough! My husband and I booked her for our maternity photos and we were blown away by her talent. Meg is amazing at capturing raw emotion in her photography. She has a keen eye and is super creative with her ability to find the perfect shot. For our shoot, she went out of her way to drive 45 minutes to a special location. She is so flexible and really listened to our ideas.

We live in Maryland but I jumped at the opportunity to get my sons first cake smash with Meg Bowman Photography. Her cake smash setups are always so amazing. Her studio was very nice and easy to get to. Meg is super friendly and it was great meeting her. The pictures of my son came out so great. She is one of the best I highly recommend her!!

Meg has taken pictures of our boys since their births. Absolutely amazing work and we have always been blown away by the quality of the photos. Great new studio with tons of new props and backgrounds and we have also done a ton of outside shoots that have been great. Has all kinds of packages and offerings. Does awesome themed mini sessions as well that the kids love (and parents...) Highly recommend!

Our family has been going to Meg for years, and we love her! She is incredibly patient with children, creative in her thought process, and very customer-friendly. She truly loves her clients, and this shows in her work and service. She goes above and beyond for her families, and it's very appreciative.
