Services
My standard home inspection is an evaluation of the visible and accessible interior and exterior structure, systems, and components. Your report will include my findings of any material defects I discover in an easy-to-read format. I will also provide my recommendations for monitoring, repair or replacement.
Each general home inspection performed by S&J Home Inspections adheres to the Strict Standards of Practice enforced by InterNACHI. Our goal is to alleviate some of the stress associated with the home inspection process. Before you close that deal, make sure that you schedule a home inspection. We'll check everything carefully by relying on our extensive home inspection checklist.
If you are selling or buying a home in Columbia, SC you'll need to obtain a state required Wood Infestation Report ( WIR). This document is commonly known as a CL-100, Termite letter or even Termite Clearance letter. To receive the termite inspection letter, you will need to get a termite inspection to inspect your home and the wood in your home for termites and wood destroying organisms.

They performed an inspection on my listing for the buyer client and called termite damage where there was none. Lost the contract because they assumed and didn't get a professional termite company to back up what they called. You just don't assume in this business. There happened to be some fire ants that got into the garage lower wall. They might be lower in cost but you get what you pay for.
