During your visit to Allen Chiropractic Care, Dr Troy Allen will perform exams to locate the source of your pain and will ask you questions about your current symptoms and remedies you may have already tried. Dr Allen will also do physical and neurological exams. In the physical exam, he will observe your posture, range of motion, and physical condition, noting movement that causes pain.
Dr Allen will feel your spine, note its curvature and alignment, and feel for muscle spasm. A check of your shoulder area is also in order. During the neurological exam, Dr Allen will test your reflexes, muscle strength, other nerve changes, and pain spread.

Dr. Allen is a very competent and professional Chiropractor. He makes time for appointments (many times on the same day). He is very knowledgeable and caring - not only helps the acute issue, but also offers recommendations and advice to prevent further issues. I first initially went to Dr. Allen because his office was just down the street. But after going to him for many reasons over the years living here in Washington I have found that his care beats all in the area for all my issues. My carpal tunnel was something I figured I would just have to endure until he adjusted the bones in my wrist. It hurt, but within minutes I could tell that it worked. I was able to use my hands again with little to no pain again. I definitely recommend him to all.

I have been seeing chiropractors for about a decade now (for a curved spine and my now-better hip issue) and Dr. Allen is one of the best chiropractors I have been to. I had called over a handful of chiropractors in the St. George/Washington area and he had the best per-visit price so I made my initial appointment.
