Had an urgent tooth issue and got right in with Dr. Gomes. The moment I made the appt I felt at ease. I have horrible dental anxiety. The staff and assistant were so kind. Dr. Gomes sat beside me and explained everything we needed to do and he was so nice and made me feel comfortable. He personally called me later that evening to be sure I was doing well.
Dr. Tamaara Morris was raised in Houston, TX. She attended the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She went on to attend dental school at The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Upon completing dental school in 2006, she fulfilled her obligation to treat the under-served population as a National Health Service Corp Scholarship recipient.

I can only state that the first time I went to this dentist I got extremely good service. However the second time I saw this dentist and staff, I could hardly get them to help me with the new dentures I paid them over $7,000. I was having problems with the lower dentures. I went in the first time and was met with the reaction of just what are you doing back here? And I can only put you down for certain day etc. I have called this office many times and get the same response which is no response. I cannot recommend this dentist nor his staff to anyone because they cannot take care of the

I can’t say enough about Dr Gomez, his staff and office. Today I had my teeth cleaned and Mandi was the most gentle and thorough hygienist that I have ever had. I am one of those “Grandma’s” that had dreaded going to the dentist since I was a young girl. This office takes away the scared part of me and eases my fears. I had no pain whatsoever before coming here. They told me I needed a crown so it didn't get worse(?) I agreed.
New, better dentist told me they left a Gap under crown so had to go back pay another 2200$. The main senior dentist said he'd take care of me. Same experience as before and now just got new crown put on from temp and I'm in so much pain now that numbness fade

My experience at the dental office prior to coming to this place was never very good. All of that has changed since coming here. The staff is courteous and professional. My appointments are always on time and everyone is there to help me have better dental hygiene. I have never been criticized nor reprimanded for what I should not have done. I can honestly say it is a pleasant experience to have a dental appointment at

I came in the office and the front desk staff was incredibly nice. I went to the exam room where I had an oral exam I was asked but was not told that the oral cancer screening had a charge. I didn't find out until I went to the front and was told I owed $25 I didn't pay because I knew my insurance was supposed to cover everything.

Went in with no pain. Was told I needed a crown and multiple fillings. The crown took multiple visits to get it "right". Throughout the whole process I was in so much pain, I could not eat on the right side of my mouth. I had specifically requested Dr. Penchas thinking he was more experienced than the random dentist straight out of school they try to hand you off to. The quality of work that they do doesn't last even two years. I had a filling done in 2016 and it recently fell out. I contacted them about it and they wanted to charge me additional fees to correct their subpar work.
I can also confirm that their scheduling isn't consistent nor considerate. They advertise that they're open once a month on the weekends but that's not always the case. They called to cancel on me the Friday before my appointment multiple times.
I wouldn't recommend them based on quality of work and scheduling

Love the people there and the cleaning is great; however the front desk is a pain. When using my FSA card they have always been shown to overbill. Upon reviewing insurance charges and letting them know what my insurance covers ahead of time, I was still billed $25 for fluoride despite my insurance covering cleaning and fluoride twice a year at 100%. I called to be reimbursed while the charge was still pending but it just went through today so I'm leaving this review here.

My appointment started 35 minutes LATE - they claimed it was because the insurance info took time to collect. But the day before someone called and took my insurance info - the front desk person then claimed that no one called me which was shocking because that would mean someone tried to scam me of my dental insurance info.
Then they tried to still push 20 minute x rays on me and also tried to claim there was a scheduling error even though my appt has been on the calendar for 2 months.
Finally someone cleaned my teeth they did a good job but the hassle is not worth it.

So, who actually likes going to the dentist? NOT A SOUL. Either you're concerned with paying an arm a leg and maybe your first born child or you're afraid of being in torturous pain.
I'm happy to say I've experience none of this, and they're so freaking nice! to put a cherry on the cupcake. (probably wouldn't have any cavities if i actually stepped away from those) So, Anna was my hygienist and she's just the most graciously sweet person, but that's not the key to it all. She did an amazing job with my cleaning, I felt nothing (YAY, for numbing agents)

Dr. Dupree and her team at Midtown Dentistry are the best thing that ever happened to my teeth. Dr. Dupree is the most professional, kind dentist; she prods and pokes, but with care and finesse, explaining her way through your mouth during what should be an awkward and dreaded encounter, but in reality is the opposite. She is careful, kind, professional, but thorough. I'm not kidding, I LIKE seeing my dentist! Dr. Dupree always takes her time with me, never schedules multiple patients at once, is ALWAYS on time, and will sit and answer any and every question I have. I've learned more
