Does Cincinnati Cooks Catering use food donated to the Freestore Foodbank in any of the food it prepares?. Cincinnati Cooks Catering purchases all of the ingredients it uses for the food we prepare for our customers. Although we would appreciate a week's notice, we understand that it is not always possible.
100% of the profits from Cincinnati Cooks Catering funnel directly back into its operations and programs of the Freestore Foodbank. The Freestore Foodbank of Cincinnati, Ohio is the largest emergency food provider in the Tri-State area, serving a 20 county region in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
We purchase, solicit and collect donated food from manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and government agencies and distribute it to more than 400 community partnership agencies (churches, food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, outreach centers, and after-school/summer programs) that provide free food to those in need.The Freestore Foodbank distributes more than 24 million meals annually to more than 281,000 low-income individuals.

I personally came to Cincinnati Cooks knowing absolutely nothing about nothing in the kitchen...im about to graduate knowing how to name and properly use every knife. I can butcher a chiken and fillet a fish( the most disgusting thing ive ever done). I can tell u how to convert measurements and how to calculate Portions and serving sizes for catering services. I also have never been more confident to take a test in all my years of school. The chefs are definately there to show u the REAL of restaraunt business. But they are ALL amazing in there own way...especially Chef John who will NOT remember
