Ellen McGuinness Counseling

My mission is to provide high quality, professional mental health services to individuals, couples, and families within a client-centered, strength-based, developmental perspective, which works to empower clients to make positive changes in their lives from a non-pathological and preventative stance.

I have skills, knowledge, and experience working with adults and children who are experiencing distress due to life's challenges and/or mental disorders. I have a calm, caring presence which allows my clients to feel comfortable and confident while I empower them to use their own wisdom, educate them on new resources, and enable them to look at their experiences through new perspectives.
