Jeff Shelton has received training from some of the worlds foremost Chinese Medicine Fertility Specialists and regularly treats patients undergoing fertility treatments such as IVF. Materials and Methods: In this study 130 IVF cycles were reviewed in a retrospective fashion.
Patients demographics, years infertile, age of male partners, sperm parameters, Day 3 FSH, Pulsatility Indices, Weight, BMI, infertility diagnoses, IVF treatment protocols were statistically similar for both the Controls (C) and Acupuncture (Ac) treatment groups.All patients that completed an IVF cycle (retrieval, transfer) were included.

I really enjoyed my acupuncture experience. The spaces were sanitized and felt clean and safe. When I went, I was the only patient which helped me feel more relaxed about social distancing, etc. Masks required as well!
The acupuncture itself was super relaxing, and I felt like it helped with my dry eyes (which is what I was being treated for). The intake was comprehensive and I felt like I learned a lot about acupuncture and chinese medicine.
It's recommended that you go at least once or twice a week for optimal treatment. I lost my job recently so I can't return any time soon, but as soon as

I went to Highland Acupuncture after a recommendation from a co-worker and Jeff spent a lot of time our first session asking about any symptoms I was having, talking to me about my medical history, etc. and took the time to explain to me my options and advising me based on his experience. He was absolutely wonderful during the whole process and provided a wealth of information to me. He is truly concerned with treating the root of the issue and what is best for his patients. I would highly without a doubt recommend Jeff to anyone looking to acupuncture and Chinese Herbs as a natural treatment plan

I started going to Jeff for fertility acupuncture. I can say without a doubt that between the acupuncture and herbs, Jeff helped improve my fertility! I went from having a cancelled IVF cycle to collecting 24 eggs, 9 of which made embryos. I would recommend him to anyone dealing with the frustrations and heartbreak of infertility.
Update: We got pregnant with twins! After dealing witu infertility for 3 years, the accupuncture made a huge difference! Jeff is truly gifted. I feel we couldn't have done it without him!

Jeff is a wonderful acupuncturist. He is thorough in understanding patient history and checks in before every appointment to tailor treatments accordingly. His approach is a combination of focus and genuine care for the patient. I felt comfortable in his presence from day 1 and can't thank him enough for staying invested in my health! It's truly unfortunate that Matthew D.'s review is the ONLY review that is shown. It really is a shame that Yelp is not being fair and displaying more reviews. My experience with Highland Acupuncture is like most others. It is excellent! I was referred to HA by a medical clinic and it has been a wonderful experience! Jeff has been great to work with. He is professional yet personable and certainly knows his craft! In fact, I started to go get treatments for one ailment, and when a different ailment appeared, we were able to change gears and address my chronic headaches instead! Nothing

I am not a needle guy, but Jeff has used other forms of Chinese Medicine, including herbs and cupping, to help me quickly recover from several bad colds.
Jeff is a great practitioner who's skills are complimented by his ability to listen. Jeff is genuinely interested in his patients and his positive energy is infectious!

Mr. Shelton has a terrible bedside manner. I did not feel welcome, or comfortable or informed. I attempted to provide my feedback during the visit, so he would not read my complaints here. However, instead of accepting feedback or being in a place of listening, he refuted my experience. That's a recipe for not building a fanbase. Related to that, no one set my expectations about the pricing schedule.
Base on all of that, I would not recommend this company.
