15 YEARS AGO, we found our love for the corporate market & It's where our name ""Waterfall" came from. A graduate of the prestgious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Chef Dan Vichie worked in private country clubs all over Pittsburgh, but found his true passion when he discovered a little breakfast & lunch cafe just off the Parkway West.
At "The Waterfall Cafe" he cooked breakfasts and lunches to order - his much loved soups & sauces were made fresh everyday. Our original customers still ask us for thier favorite sandwich & salad. With so many friends and business partners, it was difficult to leave the Waterfall Cafe, but our catering opportunites were being limited by the tiny kitchen and booming ala carte business.

CASUAL Social Planning Menus are available anytime. These menus work well for family parties, showers, baptisms, birthday parties, funeral lunches. These complete packages include the food, the plates, the napkins even chafing warming units. Serving Staff is NOT included - but available upon request.
Our AMAZING two-tray Tuscan Tray with roasted vegetables, olives, mushrooms, tortellini, cheeses, meats, olive tepenade and MORE! GRILLED CHICKEN LUNCH - THREE lighter chicken flavors are available: Chicken Caprese; Grilled Chicken topped with diced tomato, basil, olives, mozzarella cheese. Italian Chicken & Peppers; Seared Chicken garnished with a colorful topping of roasted sweet peppers, onions, olives.
These casual party packages are priced per guest & include basic white lighweight disposable plates, napkins, silverware packets, serving utensils & wire chafing units with sterno fuel. Delivery starts at $25 (within 15 miles) These menus are drop off ONLY and do not include STAFF to stay during your event!
Your Choice of: Assorted Sliced Colorful Vegetables with ranch dip or 4 variety cubed domestic cheese with pepperoni garnish & mustard dip. Also available as a combination of both, with no upcharge! We used Waterfall to cater our son's graduation party on August 1. We were looking for Covid-safe catering and they were great! I ordered hoagies to be sliced and each piece individually wrapped. I also ordered pasta and potato salad in individual containers. Renee was quick to answer all my questions and made me feel that everything would be safe AND delicious for my guests. My guests raved about the taste of the food and the safety. I look forward to calling Renee to cater my next party. I highly recommend Waterfall.

Excellent experience. The food tasted great and the presentation was eye popping. They were very thoughtful in adjusting the menu up to the last minute. They delivered on time and on budget. Great coordinator who genuinely cared about our experience. If you need a caterer and want something other than the usual offerings, give them a call.

We used Waterfall Catering for a 70th birthday party for my dad yesterday. We had about 75 people in attendance and I'm pretty certain that 90% of them asked for the name of the caterer because everyone really enjoyed the food! A few guests raved about how delicious the London broil was, noting they have never had it cooked so perfectly. The caprese skewers were also a big hit with several guests taking multiples.
