Brown Funeral Home began because Jimmy R. Brown saw a need for quality, affordable funeral service in small towns. Being raised on a cattle ranch south of Chivington, Colorado in Eastern Kiowa County, he realized that just because we don't have Wal-Mart, why should families have to drive 30 to 60 miles during a time that is difficult enough.
We understand that making the many decisions which come at a time of loss can be difficult. We offer our support by providing you with two options as you consider making immediate arrangements. This, our newest location is now open and serving the Kit Carson County Community. This brand new facility is over 6800 square feet of absolute beauty, featuring the largest casket selection room and indoor granite display in Eastern Colorado. Chapel seating of over 120 allows for large funeral ceremonies or memorial services to be held here.
You do a great job, Jimmy! I've been to several funerals you conducted and found you compassionate and professional and most accommodating.
