Our airy cabinas feature comfortable beds, ceiling fans, cool tiled floors, private baths with hot showers and wide, screened windows that let in gentle ocean breezes and melodic sounds from the jungle as you fall asleep. Standard rooms are available with one double bed, two twins, or one double and one twin.
The fertil Atlantic slope drains into the Caribbean Sea at Costa Rica's remote northeastern border with Nicaragua, along the San Juan River. Here, the Barra del Colorado Wilidlife Refuge and the 20,000 hectare Tortuguero National Park, do their bit to protect their famous network of canals, tributaries and the vast green, alluvial plain.
We have 55 bright and airy cabinas, from singles up to quads, with two larger "family" rooms, which are subject to availability. We pride ourselves on personalized service and want you to enjoy your tour experience, so we try and keep tours limited to 10 to 15 people. Even during our busiest periods, there will never be more than 20 people.

Rented a large (12 person) pontoon boat from Thursday to Saturday night for ~$550. Walt was Very friendly, he got us all set up: checked the lights, hooked up the boat, got us enough chairs and even a small toddler/infant life jacket. The lodge also offers cabins/rooms for $ 80-90/night and has a nice fish cleaning station. This was our second time renting from there and would highly recommend!
