Our staff is required to attend continuing education seminars to keep abreast of all the latest information. Alfonse "Al" Muto graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy in 1983 with a BS in Pharmacy.

Located inside the Walker plaza and a bit pricey, this is a nice pharmacy without that pharmacy feel. Pine offers a variety of products from human medications to pet meds to holistic care, cosmetics & skin care, trinkets, pure tart cherry juice and more.
You can even get medications that have to be compounded. With that being said, they require a 48 hours notice for a refill on compounded meds. We have to refill Omeprazole for our Pomeranian mix every 30 or so days, but it's hard to tell exactly when to order 48 hours in advance because it's a liquid and it's hard to tell when

Who knew I'd have to get a compounded prescription for my cat? It has a hard time taking pills, so I got the vet to prescribe the med in liquid form. I got the prescription from the emergency vet on Friday night and took it to Pine Pharmacy on the Saturday morning of Labor Day weekend. They said that they probably wouldn't be able to fill it until Tuesday, because they closed at three and they had a long list of prescriptions to be filled. After reading the reviews I was shocked to hear how people are dissatisfied--I had a completely different experience. Typically, if you're having medicine compounded, you're desperate enough to pay out of pocket for that service. I did pay over $100 for my medication yesterday, and I was so satisfied with the customer service here that I returned to browse. If you want high end things, they come at a cost. If you need medication and they're the only ones who can help you, you should rearrange your priorities. With the kindness of each of the people I spoke with, I'd keep coming

Extremely expensive, really unhappy with the service. I react severely to almost everything, and am currently limited to FIVE foods I can safely eat, so when physician prescribed a compound supplement I had to research carefully, so as not to make myself sicker with the thing that's actually supposed to help. Was concerned about one of the ingredients, and talked with the pharmacist at Pine. I asked if it was possible to get a smaller amount to try, before purchasing at $180 for one month's supply, out of pocket. He said it wouldn't cost any less because most of the expense is

Super expensive is an understatement. Most items seem higher priced than other pharmacies. Prices seem to be based on the old adage, "What ever the market will bear. I would also suggest being wary of vets directing you to this pharmacy for pet med's. A thimble size medication of eye ointment for our pet came to $65. They say if you have to ask how much it will cost you should not be in that store. They also say when the profit factor exceeds the customers needs they will take their business elsewhere.

The staff at Pine Pharmacy go way above and beyond any of the 'normal' pharmacy staff you'd find at the name brand stores. They are extremely nice to customers and will answer any of your questions in a cordial and professional manner. They prepare any type of compounded prescriptions on-site and the pharmacists do a great job of insuring the best value for their patients and will work with insurance companies to make sure that you'll pay the lowest amount of co-pay possible. This place is super expensive. I go here because I have mitochondrial dysfunction and my specialist has a medicine compounded for me here. It is literally the only place in the area that does it, so I'm very grateful for that. Insurance covers most of it, so that's good. They also ship the medication to me if I don't want to brave the Williamsville Main Street traffic (it's awful!). The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and they are very good at contacting me whenever there's a question.
