Penny Lane has been serving Monroe County since 1976. We are a state licensed center, a CCDF and On My Way Pre-K provider, plus a Nationally Accredited Program with a Paths to Quality Level 4 rating. We have two locations; Penny Lane East and Penny Lane West. We offer full time and part time quality care from 6 weeks to 10 years.

Part time consists of a minimum of 3 days per week, and offering flexible schedules for families. Essential Workers- Families can apply for assistance with childcare fees With this scholarship! Teaching young children is rewarding and challenging. As teachers, we believe that making a difference in a child and/or family's life is a great feeling of accomplishment.

I am absolutely horrified this evening. I put my trust in Penny Lane to take care my son everyday and they have failed. Every mothers worst fear. It has been a struggle from day 1 of zero communication from them. Tonight was the straw that broke this mother. I walked into the classroom to find that my child was in nothing but a diaper. I immediately ask why is he naked. The teacher asked if no one called me. No. She then directs me to the primary teacher in the other classroom. Me and his father go into the room where I ask why my son is naked. She then asks if no one called and talked to me. Again

I cannot put my gratitude towards the teachers at Penny Lane into words. They have taken exceptional care of our two kids. They go above and beyond and we are so thankful everyday for their dedication, care and compassion to not only our children but all the other children there as well. Our kids are so smart, sweet, sensitive, outgoing, etc and that is all in part to the whole Penny Lane staff. This is a fantastic place and you will not regret enrolling your children here.

Penny Lane is an extraordinary child care provider for the Bloomington Community! Everyone there is knowledgable and dedicated to enriching the lives of each one of their students. I could not ask for a better start to my son's education! Amazing facility.

My child has been going to Penny Lane East for almost 2 years now. I LOVE all of the teachers there. They are VERY friendly and have huge hearts for all the kiddos there. HIGHLY recommend. I wouldn't trust any other daycare with my Child. It is a bonus my daughter loves going to Penny Lane as well.

An occurrence a long time ago. My daughter had a fever and slept in bed all day. No one even knew till we got there. They didn't feed her or check up on her.

Their negligence put my child in the hospital twice. If your kid has no special needs or any behavior that requires some compassion and effort from the "teachers" better watch out... The staff and director are rude, dismissive and unaccountable for their incompetence.

If your child is well behaved and has no special needs maybe they'd be okay - in a pinch. Lots of eye rolling and bad attitudes. I'd not trust them.

We have been taking our kids here for 3 years and after trying many different day cares this is the only one we trust. Awesome teachers who really care as a great environment of love
