Services
We are a full-service provider of veterinary services for your cat or dog. Whether your pet needs a wellness exam, vaccinations, a behavior consultation, or a full medical work up. We offer pet foods, treats, Pill Pockets, shampoos, dental supplies, premise flea sprays, Skunk Off, and other over-the-counter products.
In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service, and minimizing costs, we do not bill. When unexpected illness strikes, unexpected expense strikes as well. To help, we offer ScratchPay and CareCredit. These options allow you to make monthly installments. It takes just minutes to get approved and you may apply at our hospital or online before your appointment.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine 1995. Dr. Moore has been practicing veterinary medicine for 25 years and serving the Southeastern Ohio community since the year 2000. Previously practicing in Lancaster, Dr. Moore is now the proud owner of Hocking Hills Animal Clinic.
SURGERY: We perform both out-patient and in-patient surgeries. Neuters and spays on cats and dogs are done as out-patient procedures, so your pet can be home with you the same day in most cases. Procedures such as tumor removals, gastrointestinal foreign body removal, and oral surgery are performed on a regular basis as well.
We use a state-of-the-art Direct Digital Radiography (DR). This type of digital xray unit provides the fastest and best images available. Images are ready for review within 6 seconds from the time our veterinarians and technicians snap the image. We can send images via internet for review and consultation by board-certified radiologists at PetRays, The Ohio State University, and MedVet.

We can't say enough about the outstanding quality treatment our dog, Diego, received at Hocking Hills Animal Clinic when we were on vacation last week. We took Diego on our vacation and he injured himself on a walk and was in obvious distress. We contacted 3 clinics but only Hocking Hills took the time to actively listen to us and somehow figured out a way to make room for Diego even though they were incredibly busy.
The receptionist was compassionate and very professional in understanding Diego's situation and fitting us in. Dr. Moore and her exceptional team were able to diagnose and treat Diego

Camping in Hocking Hills our 6 month old beagle puppy had a problem with diarrhea. Called different animal clinics and was turned down. Hocking Hills Animal Clinic was gracious enough to fit her into their schedule the next day. The staff was very friendly and sent us home with everything we needed to correct the problem. Highly recommend 👌 them. She is doing so much better after just one day. We want to thank you Hocking Hills Animal Clinic so much!!!

Our cat,Cupcake is a patient here. She is my first pet so this place has been my first experience with a vet as well! But they are great!They are so informative and involve you with every step of anything going on with your pet which is refreshing for someone as clueless as me! Cupcake is very important to us as she is my daughter's cat.So i want to feel absolutely positive she's in good hands! At this place I do. The staff is so sweet and you just feel like they truly care and understand how much your pet means to you.

Wow this place is amazing and filled with caring people. My wife and I were enjoying a long get away in Hocking Hills. Our Bulldog got his toenail stuck and broke it completely off. We were able to get the bleeding under control but still felt we needed to have a Vet look at it. I called in and the receptionist, she said they were booked up for several weeks but she would go talk to the doctor. They were able to get me right in and didn't charge any extra fee just a normal visit. Doc was so caring and reassured me my dog would be fine and treated us with such compassion, I am really impressed.

I started going to this veterinarian because of a recommendation and the fact my normal veterinarian wouldn't return my phone call. My dog was vomiting for over 2 weeks and with one phone call to this veterinarian they were able to figure out the issue and give me information that I've never been told before. My dog has a lot of allergies and I was feeding him a grain free, high protein dog food and I was never told it needed to be refrigerated since it can spoil. I was basically unknowingly poisening my dog. They were able to get him a food that helps him as well as educating me on products. They
